Dr. John M. Mcknight, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Mcknight for several years. While I find him to be generally patient and helpful, the last few visits he was a bit dismissive. I am primarily writing this review because of how hard it is to schedule an appointment. I had a serious and timely medical condition and he could not see me for a month, so I had to see another doctor to treat my condition. Knowing how hard it is to get an appointment, I scheduled my annual check up two months I'm advance. One month before my appointment, his office canceled on me because he was going on vacation and couldn't reschedule for another two months. If you'd like a doctor who can see you within a week or two, I would avoid using Dr. Mcknight.

Dr McKnight has been my GP for years now. He's always provided good, calm, helpful assistance. As someone who is extremely reluctant to go to doctors, I've found that I always feel comfortable with Dr. McKnight. Recommended.

Very smart, personable and communicative. Returns phone calls and emails usually on the same day. A real gem!

One of the most condescending medical interactions I have ever had, unfortunately. I felt unwelcome, uncomfortable, and as if there was not the least bit of cultural competency. This was clearly not a good fit.

This doc is so not present it's not even funny. He seems socially inept and awkward...He seems like he could not care less. He is not inquisitive; he doesn't go beyond...he seems to want to move on to the next person right away. Really can't imagine anyone recommending this person.

Dr. McKnight is a terrific internist. He is very accessible, responds to calls on the same day and seems to be a very astute diagnostician. Feel very lucky to have found him.

Worst Annual Physical in 30 years! This doctor was awkward, unhelpful, and not thorough.

Have been going to Dr. J McKnight for many years. He takes time with you, listens, prescribes well and when a follow up specialist is needed, he knows what to do. Some of the specialists who rent space in the office complex are not nearly as skilled or caring as Dr. M....but that is not any reflection on him. Do your homework re. specialists. But Dr. M is first rate, warm, available and very special in this world of people who do not seem to care. He cares. j

Dr. Mc Knight is personable, accommodating and caring. His treatment comes with a level of understanding and true pursuit of a diagnosis or referral to accelerate your treatment.
