I work very hard to hear what my patients actually say, and what that may mean to them. I work very hard to stay focused on patients, and not disorders. I work very hard to speak to my patients in plain English (or the best language for the patient), and I strive to make certain my patients understand what I am trying to say. I don’t mind at all repeating something I have said, and I appreciate all questions as an opportunity to clarify communication.
