Dr. John Philip Vaclavik, MD

So....I don’t read into these reviews. I was skeptical about keeping my appointment because of what some self dignified a-hole wrote recently. I ignored and went with the recommendation made to me by a friend who sees his partner Dr. Rogers. My appointment was great. Dr. V was warm and understanding of all my concerns and Didn’t make me feel rushed. I looked into these comments and did my own research and found out Dr. V is one of many doctors who work out of Monmouth that can be ‘said’ to be responsible for a bad outcome. As an attorney I gave him the benefit of the doubt and didn’t jump to conclusions. He really cares and was tearful when I asked about his patient loss. For someone that prosecuted criminals, I will be the first to say these comments are ridiculous. I’ve been wrong with clients before myself and have learned not to judge others by comments made by uneducated ‘authors’ and ignorant clients. So...staff was great..office needs a little updating...but overall great… experience.

I'm currently almost done with my second pregnancy overseen by Dr. Vaclavik. My first pregnancy was complicated by an infection in my spine and after being brushed off by ER doctors and ortho doctors as "pregnancy pain", Dr. Vaclavik was the ONLY one who stood up for me and believed me when I said something was wrong. I was in early pregnancy and couldn't move, literally could not move, that isn't normal and he completely agreed and made the ER doctors listen. I will never, ever forget what he did for me and if he hadn't helped me, my daughter and I might not be here today. His care and bedside manner is unparalleled. He is a very popular doctor and sees tons of patients but still remembers my husband's job and small details of my health history. When I became pregnant with twins this time around, I know there was no one else I'd rather in my corner than him. I trust him with my life and more importantly, my children's lives.

I had a ablation done a few years back by DR V. Now I have to have surgery to repair my right side of my uterus because he wen to far and I am now missing the right side. also wanted to get my tubes untied and the IVF specialist I went to told me DR V took too much of my tubing out. I would not recommend this Dr to anyone I feel like I was his Guinea pig!

Dr. Vaclavik was my primary obgyn during my pregnancy, he is the most professional, patient and caring doctor I have ever encountered in my life.
