Dr. Jonathan Brisman, MD, F.A.C.S.

STAY AWAY. Dr. Brisman performed a microdiscetomy and a laminectomy on me. He gave me no information going into the surgery as far as that I would need to hire help, get a lifted toilet seat and other things I found out I needed. He also never saw me post surgery, and after making an appointment a week and a half after because of the pain iI was in, they left me in the waiting room for an hour before I walked out because it was too painful to sit. And according to what I've read I shouldn't be sitting for more than 20 minutes. The assistant had the worst attitude and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I walked out of the practice and calmed myself down and walked back in and Dr. Brisman was standing there and asked his assistant "Is that him?" This guy doesn't care and is just booking surgeries. He then tells me I need to see my regular Dr after I show him how my torso looks twisted to the right and tells me he will prescribe a muscle relaxer and walks out. 10 Minutes later his assistant… walks back in and asks to confirm my pharmacy. I asked if the Dr. was coming back in and she said no. I said this is ridiculous. It's been a week and a half and he has not even told me anything about how the surgery went, what I should or shouldn't be doing, and for how long. I called the office manager and she was helpful in getting me info from the other surgeons there. I would stay well clear from Dr. Brisman if you want a Dr. that actually cares about you.

Both Monica and Dr Brisman were pleasant and very helpful. He listen to all my questions and gave me detailed answers. He was professional.

Dr Brisman was very informative. He gave a detailed explanation of my condtion and the options that were available for treatment.

Good bedside manner, knowledgeable, competent and compassionate . The office staff nice , kind and knowledgeable.

Dr. Jonathan Brisman came highly recommended from two separate parties (A Neurologist, and a neighbor who has a relative working at NYU Langone). I only saw him for a consult based on MRA results, I got the impression that he didn't think there was much risk, so other than checking again in 6 months (another MRA), nothing needed to be done about it. That put me at ease. He accurately assessed that my pain was not caused by this, so I eventually tried a neck heating pad and found much relief.

Very naughty front desk representative with a bad attitude. Waited 1 hour before they call me in. Dr. Brisman didn't pay attention to what I was reporting and rushed me out the visit. I went to see him because he was recommended, however I didn't have a good experience and thinking to get a second opinion.

Monica was extremely helpful and pleasant. Doctor Brisman was very professional and answered all our questions. Will look forward to follow up visits

Staff (especially Kathleen) are rude and have no empathy for patients. Do not return phone calls and incredibly rude when they do. Doctor is sarcastic and in a rush.

HE saved my moms life. she had 4 brain aneurysms. he was blunt to us about it but he saved her life. i am forever grateful to have my mom thanks to him.
