Dr. Jonathan Scott Levine, MD

It has been 3 days since I underwent the above surgery. Dr. Jonathan Levine was recommended to me by another competent doctor, for his expertise, reputation and extense surgical experience. I am very grateful to have been directed to him, my surgery was outstanding. I was worried about my voice and to become hoarse in the first few days is normal but there can be more severe injury to the vocal cord nerve. Well, my voice remained normal right after surgery, my neck is very lightly sore and I can move it without any problem, my incision is till covered but seems to be perfect. He was able to find the nodule in the parathyroid and its hormone dropped immediately. I am a little slow but in good spirits and well. The surgery was safe and a success. I thank Dr.Levine and his staff for the competence and dedication, and recommend him to anyone needing an excellent surgeon.

I went to Imperial Point ER at 2 am with severe abdominal pain and chills. A few hours later Dr. Levine performed emergency laparascopic appendectomy. He's warm, friendly, personable and my procedure went without a hitch. I was discharged the next day and here I sit, comfortably writing this review. I wish I could give 6 stars. I consider myself extremely fortunate that this fine doctor provided my care.

I have been hesitant to write this as I know a negative review could effect business; however, this has been on my mind for approximately 5 years now and I don't want to remain silent anymore. I don't know where to begin so I will jump in the middle. I was in my work office and received a call from Dr Levine that i had lung cancer. I asked Dr Levine what I should do and he verbalized that I should get further tests at another hospital since my insurance didn't pay for any additional tests except a needle aspiration. Fearing the worse, I drove quickly to Dr Levine's office and with my heart pounding I asked the front desk staff if I had to now deal with a death sentence. A nurse at that time appeared- a tall ARNP or possibly an RN approached the window in stilettos and verbalized the following: How should I know if your going to die!. I started to panic and Dr Levine came out of his office with a smirk verbalizing to the ARNP just take him "that guy" behind in back to call Holy Cross… Medical for an Ultrasound. Let me tell you that was the hardest two weeks of my life. Today, I'm in remission thanks to the wonderful work of other Dr's. Dr Levine and this ARNP shouldn't be in practice in my opinion.

Glad my walk of faith led me to Dr. Levine's expertise of hernia repair. Thanks a bunch!

You just can't find anyone better and more compassionate than Dr. Levine. Truly an A+++ when it comes to doctors and because of an illness I have I've seen many but NONE compare to Dr. Levine.

I have been to many physicians in my lifetime but Dr. Levine by far has been one of the kindest and warmest individuals I have ever met. His mannerisms and kind nature calmed me as I face a surgery to rule out a serious condition. Amazing human being, incredible professional.

Honestly the most skilled, professional surgeon in South Florida and his kindness, compassion and bedside manner is unrivaled!

The doctor only takes payment up front, and demands to get paid directly. Claims to not be part of Holy Cross, but he's on their website. Which all would have been more acceptable if only his office had said something about upfront direct payment when I first called- 2 weeks before the appointment. Horrible experience!!!

fantastic Doctor! i will never go to anyone else. long wait time BUT worth the wait, he takes the time with each of his patients and you feel like your talking with a friend not a Doctor. he spends ample time with you and address all your concerns. follow up is good, takes normal time to get back to you. there is no one i would trust more to operate on me or my loved ones

My first experience with Dr. Levine was 9 years ago when he had removed my daughter's gallbladder after pregnancy. He had left a favorable impression so when I needed mine removed, I knew exactly who I wanted to do the surgery. Dr. Levine was wonderful before, during and after the procedure. I hope that I never need another surgery but, if so, he is the first person I will go to. You might spend some time in his waiting room but I have found that you will normally will when it comes to excellent physicians.
