Dr. Jonathan George Yerasimides, MD

I had major surgery performed by Dr. Yerasimides. I had a total hip replacement on my right side, and an extension rod placed in my right thigh. Although the doctor performed the surgery with skill, his office is less than competent, they treated me like I was a number or cattle being hearded through & left me in the preop waiting area for over two hours without checking on me even once. And then no one ever bothered to call me after the surgery was over to check on me or to see how my progress was going, I used to work in a dental office, and we literally called every single patient the next day, even if all they had was a single tooth extraction performed. But they have called me multiple times because my insurance paid everything but like $40. I just called them today to find out what blood type I have in the actually told me that they don’t know, how can you have major surgery at a place and they not know your blood type, if there was an emergency that occurred I guess I would’ve… died right there on the table, considering they had no idea what blood I have. I find this completely unacceptable and when I asked them what would have happened if I had an emergency they actually answered me “ma’am, I don’t have an answer for you” are you serious right now??? I literally do not recommend going here at all. If you can find another surgeon, please do so. Not to mention the anesthesiologist was very strange, gave me a very creepy, eerie, feeling and never spoke to me, and literally performed an epidural/nerve block, and never even told me what was happening at the time. He literally had me sit up on the bed and said OK lean forward for a second and then that was it just performed the epidural like what if I had moved I don’t understand these people. I heard such great things about him and in the consultation he was so friendly but his staff! his staff needs serious help. And how can you perform surgery without knowing a blood type?? Ask yourself this question. If it were you Would you not want them to know your blood type? Of course you would.

Dr. Yerasimides is the kind of doctor you only hope for each time you have a first time visit with a new provider but rarely ever get! He is on TOP of his game!! The first visit I had, I knew, I had made the right choice to come to Him for my second opinion ! His knowledge, expertise and patient/physician communication made it easy for me to choose him as my New Hip replacement surgeon. His down to earth personality and ability to connect with his patients is a rare trait these days. I’m so thankful for his reputation and his past patients that speak so highly of him that will GLADLY refer him IN A HEARTBEAT !

Dr. Y is very knowledge and always provides exceptional service an bedside manner. His staff are exceptional and very considerate. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs hip surgery. Thank you Dr Y for my other hip replacement, I am now good to go and pain free.

He walked me through all the operating produces. Explained what to expect before and after my surgery. His staff was very kind and considerate.

Dr. Yerasametes has the best reputation for total hip replacement of any other physician In my area. There was no other choice for me but having my hip replaced by him. No Regrets!!
