Dr. Joon Song, MD

MY IUD WAS PLACED IN A BAD LOCATION, GIVING ME AWFUL PAIN AND BLEEDING. I VISITED 3 OTHER DOCTORS BEFORE DR.SONG, AND SURGICAL REMOVAL WAS ADVISED. DR.SONG REMOVED THE IUD ON THE DAY OF MY VISIT AND DIDN'T EVEN RECOMMEND ME TO GO TO A HOSPITAL SURGERY. I LIKE DR.SONG AND HIS PROFESSIONAL STAFF.

Dr Song and his staff are great. He's very knowledgeable, friendly, detailed and told me exactly what's going on with my body and afterwards told me the steps we have to take to achieve pregnancy. I found out so much of what's going on with my reproductive system, very thankful to finally get answers and have a plan. Thank you Dr Song and Thank you to your staff!

Dr. Joon Song is an amazing medical doctor. Extremely professional, very friendly, such a positive attitude, provides close attention to your needs. Very well mannered, his office is extremely clean, very warm, and inviting. All of his staff that works in his office are amazing as well. Very professional extremely sweet and completely understanding. I highly recommend this wonderful office. If I can give it more than five stars I would. A++++++++ ?? I have been going to Dr. Song for a couple years now, and I recommend him to everyone I know. He is super friendly, thorough, and thoughtful. He is always available to sit down and talk through test results, concerns, etc., and his staff is always helpful and kind. He once sat with me for over an hour to discuss some (unnecessary) concerns I had, and took the time to make me feel completely reassured. Highly recommend him!

I had two surgeries before I saw Dr. Song. I wish I met dr. Song from my first gyno visit.

Better communication with all patients not just selective few. The extreme lack communication personally made me feel like I wasn’t wanted as a patient to be completely honest. I didn’t even get a call back regarding my procedure I had to call and ask to get a call back regarding my results which wasn’t good at all! Meanwhile the experience for another patient of the office whom I was referred by was contracted and catered to above and beyond. That made me feel very bad. I was told I was going to get a call back regarding prospective fibroid removal surgery however I was never followed up about that as well! On top of everything I was billed for a procedure that my insurance actually covers, I’m assuming the office didn’t do a pre authorization that was needed therefore it didn’t process through to the insurance company accurately. The doctors demeanor the day of my procedure didn’t seem as though he wanted to proceed with helping me in my situation as well which forced my hand to seek… medical attention someone else. My overall experience wasn’t good at all!

Dr. Joon Song has had very bad publicity since he sued a patient for $1M for posting negative reviews. Since then there has been strange activity surrounding his online reviews. Negative reviews suddenly disappear and are then replaced by glowing reviews -- reviews that have a look and feel that suggests they were written to offset the negative reviews. If Dr. Song is using lawyers (legal goons) to pressure websites into removing negative reviews, the public has a right to know about this. I urge anyone who wants to see what Dr. Song's reviews looked like on any given doctor review website to visit The Wayback Machine, an online archive.

Very unprofessional. First he made fun of the size of my uterus, repeatedly laughing, saying it was so small. Then he kept telling me i didn't have much longer to be fertile, he said this many times, i had already told him i have no interest in children. Worst of all, when i was getting my IUD replaced he ripped it out of my uterus with no warning. It was extremely painful. Then he proceeded to yell at me to stay still. I was crying my eyes out, laying there with a strange man between my legs yelling at me. The nurse apologized when he left the room, she said she'd couldn't believe he did that. This doctor has terrible bedside manner, he is rude, ignores patients concerns, and downright dangerous during procedures.

I have been a patient of Dr.Song for many years. Dr.Song is always pleasure to see. He is never judgmental and makes me feel comfortable no matter what I need to discuss.

Dr.Song is deserving of all of his glowing reviews. I felt so at easy with him and didn’t feel rushed at any point during our appointment. He made me feel very comfortable and he answered all of my questions. He made suggestions but never pressured me, which I really appreciated. I will definitely continue to see him going forward.
