Dr. Jose Bordon is the CEO and founding chair of Washington Health Institute. Dr. Bordon completed his training at Providence Hospital/George Washington Medical Center in Washington D.C. and his training in Infectious Diseases at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD. He has been practicing Infectious Diseases since 2002 and is the former Chief of the Section of Infectious Diseases at Providence Hospital. He is certified in Internal Medicine and also in Infectious Diseases by the American Board of Internal Medicine.


Dr. Bordon’s main interests are focused on the holistic health needs of patients, physician education and research. Some of his favorite research fields include HIV infection, viral hepatitis, tuberculosis and pneumococcal pneumonia.
