Please think twice about this doctor. If you only need ROUTINE FOLLOW UP CARE, such as prescriptions and routine labs you might be ok. I needed more than routine. I have a very unstable blood pressure and Dr. Rendon had no clue as to how to help me control it. He doubled medications and added new ones in the same visit. Obviously I got very sick and had side effects. When I became sick on weekends and after hours, Dr. Rendon would not return calls. I needed surgery and asked for a referal to see the surgeon of my choice. It took 3 months to get it, and him and his office kept assuring me that it had been sent. Dr. Rendon will ONLY refer to other doctors in the St. Joes network, he will not refer outside of St. Josephs. DR. JOSE RENDON DOES NOT HAVE ANY PRIVELEGES AT ANY HOSPITAL

Never was able to see Dr. Rendon only his side kick the O.D. No bedside manner and extremely rude!!

He is also very sweet, caring, professional and funny. LOVE HIM! His staff is also very, very nice.

I came to see Dr. Rendon because I kept choking when I drank water. I thought it was because I was distracted. He immediately had tests run on me and a referral made for me and I found out that I had MS. Dr. Rendon caught it in the early stages, and all because I couldn't swallow water. He's great!

He has great bedside manner. He made me feel like I was the only appointment that day! It is very easy to get in when you are ill. Me and my family are in good hands!

Dr. Rendon (& his staff) is absolutely wonderful! He is the most caring physician I have ever been treated by, & he (& God) is the reason my husband is a melanoma SURVIVOR. Dr. R. spotted a patch of skin on his back during a routine visit, scheduled an (next day) appointment for him with a skin cancer specialist, & the cancer was found to have already spread to his lymph nodes. He started radiation in less than a week, & has just passed the 5-year survivor mark! I owe my happpiness to Dr. R, & he always treats me with the same thoroughness and kind, friendly manner. He & his staff geniunely care for each & every patient. I consider any wait to see him to be well worth my time, & due to the fact that he really DOES listen to a patient's concerns & symptoms. Truly a wonderful human being!!

Dr. Rendon is amazing. He is very perceptive, very caring and very personable. Even though he is very busy makes me feel like I am the only patient he has to see that day. Office staff are very pleasant and friendly.
