Pediatrics is truly his calling. He has been treating my grandchildren for 14 years. Compassionate, accurate, and always there when you need him. He is like having a doctor in the family. The staff follows his lead. Always there for you. Love, love, love this practice.

My daughter started seeing Dr Cossio in 1999 when she was born. I had no intentions of continuing to see him since I live over an hour away from Savannah. My daughter had a lot of respiratory distress at birth. He knew something was not right and tested and diagnosed her with Strep which had been missed by my GYN. I will always be grateful to Dr Cossio. We continued seeing him throughout the years and I cannot say enough good things about him and his practice. They have always been wonderful to us.

I found Dr. Cossio through these reviews and I see there are mixed feelings with everyone. I met with him and my child and had a great experience ( one of the best yet since being in Savannah). The office staff was kind and curteous as well. My rule of thumb is to pick a doctor that best fits your family and point of view. In this case I think Dr. Cossio is great fit for us. I will continue to take my children for care.

Dr. Cossio was busy with two emergencies before we could see him. One he helped with the child's breathing, placed an IV Line and had him ready to go to the hospital before paramedics arrived. Then walked with the nedic next to the stretcher consoling the child until he was taken to the hospital. In spite of this strew full event and our long wait he was curious, took his time with us and spoke and advised us , he even wrote down instructions and explained them to my husband and I. My family has never seen such professionalism

Did you ever see a pediatrician yell at patients and parents? here he is! I have never saw such a rude doctor before. He does not want to communicate with parents, does not respect with patient either. I do not understand why he can be a doctor for such a long time. I would never let him touch my baby any more. I will also complain to the state board.

My husband and both our parents were impressed on how Dr Cossio took time and explained everything to us about our new babies care. Once we started coming to the office with the other children his patience and care was always the same. Then our oldest child became ill and Dr Cossio at very late hours met us at the hospital took control of the situation and put us at ease. My parents think he is a type of physician which no longer exists with manage care and such a letiginous profession, yet he puts that aside and cares for the children and the family unit.
