Dr Wilson is very knowledgeable and personable. He explained my issue in terms I would understand and listened to everything I had to say. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Wilson has been excellent throughout the process of my shoulder joint replacement. Initially, he helped me with getting to a proper diagnosis, followed by some pain relief and helpful exercises. He was patient and informative with me as we figured out an ultimate action plan... surgery which ended up being inevitable. In his care, I built up a high level of respect for him because of his knowledge and kindness. He is passionate about his work and that helped me have the confidence in his ability to do a great job on my shoulder. Because I am an engineer, I tend to be focused on details of how things work. He was straight and accurate about describing the whole process. Of course, I did my own research and found that he was spot on with what he was telling me. I am happy to say that the surgery went great. And, the hospital, NC Specialty was top notch. My PT went better than expected, because of both the care that I received from the EmergeOrtho therapists and how well I followed their home assignments. The follow-ups that I had with Dr. Wilson were reassuring that all was well and that my recovery was the best that it could possibly be. I highly recommend Dr. Wilson to do anyone's shoulder surgery because I trusted him with mine and the results have been perfect. Dr Wilson has cared enough to figure out what was wrong with my shoulder. He has stood by his work and cared about me after the surgery. He has fixed my shoulder after two other doctors had tried and failed. He will treat you like a brother. His staff is excellent!

Dr. Wilson is one of the best doctors I have had the pleasure of working with. I went to him for a second opinion and he took the time to draw things out for me, showed me pictures of my shoulder, reviled what is going on and filled me in on all the ramifications of having surgery as well as the restrictions it may have on me. Dr. Wilson explained my situation clearly and succinctly, staff made arrangements for an MRI and rather than wasting time with another appointment, will discuss the results on the phone. If surgery is needed we'll get right to it, not waste a lot of time. Great experience so far.

After a very traumatic shoulder injury, Dr. Wilson expertly rebuilt my rotator cuff and reattached my left bicep and after just 18 weeks, I'm about 95% recovered and finished with outpatient physical therapy. His efforts as well as the conscientious physical therapy have led to my full return to work. I highly recommend Dr Wilson for his expertise as well as exceptional people skills.

Dr. Wilson did an amazing job on my knee arthroscopies (both knees) in 2017 after a car accident in 2016. The recovery was fast and now I am able to exercise in the gym like I did before the accident. Also, he was very patient with me during my appointments and ensured all of my questions were answered before and after the surgeries. I highly recommend him!
