Dr. Joseph Cozzolino, MD

Worst doctor I’ve ever been to. He stares at the computer the whole time and doesn’t talk to the patient. Spends 1 minute doing an exam and you’re done.

During my most recent visit, Dr Cozzolino ordered a screening MRI to look for signs of a possible brain aneurysm. When I had the MRI images examined by a neurologist I was told the images weren't of any diagnostic use because no contrast dye had been given to me when the images were taken. The MRI center told me the doctor's MRI order did not request contrast. Needless to say, I am now looking for a new primary doctor.

In an out kind of doctor. Spends less than 10 minutes with patient

I have only seeing him twice, he doesn't listen what you are saying. Explained several times what were my symptoms and still sends me to do an exam that was not needed. Only looked at my eyes when he came inside the room and when he left the rest of the time he is focus on the computer for few minutes and you are done. He only suggest to do exams at his office to increase income. He could care less about you. Will never recommend him and I'm shopping for another doctor that truly cares about your health not the pocket.

It took 2 weeks to get a appointment, then he spent less than 5 minutes with me. Would not answer my questions,he just said I 'm the doctor and everything's ok. I'm In terrible pain. Will be looking for new primary care doctor. He's very condescending to his patients.

Dr. Cozzolino is a good doctor. Wait time in the waiting room or exam room is usually about 20 minutes. He reads you MR on the computer and then quickly talks to you. I would like it more if he would spend more time with me in the exam room. When asking a question, he is very quick on his responses, actually too quick. I would rather him take his time and explain in laymen turns what I need to know. Last visit, I started to ask him a question and he was half way out the door. He is a good doctor but would like him to spend more time if I had questions that needed to be answered. I know he is a very busy doctor, but he needs to realize that a patient isn't only a number, we are human beings and would like our questions answered with him in the room and not one foot out the door.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Cozzolino as he cares about my overall health and well being. After a rather nasty divorce, he talked to me about the importance of taking care of my physical self as I tried to heal my emotional self. I cannot emphasize how much I appreciated his kindness and concern. I am also a competitive amateur athlete. When I saw him about some knee pain, he made sure that I saw a physical therapist who specialized in rehabilitating athletes because he understood the importance of my sport. He is frank about the need for a healthy diet and exercise. In my opinion, more doctors should be! If you want a doctor who tries to fix everything with a pill, you will not like him. If you are committed to embracing a healthy lifestyle, he will help you get there!

Very thorough but doesn't overdo it with unnecessary tests. Very conscientious. At first I did not seem to connect with him, but as time went on, I did and found him to be a very good listener and very responsive.

Very willing to explain ailments in detail. Easy to talk to. I was impressed when on a Friday afternoon he will willing to work me into a full schedule to treat an urgent problem. Recommended highly
