Dr. Joseph Peter Evers, MD

Very poor attitude, Not compassionate. Not able to provide current information, unlikely to provide best care. This man did not read chart before giving his opinion. He almost gave a drug to which am allergic. Then said he never heard of that allergy. He uses scare tactics. He does not exhibit compassion. Tests were done multiple times. Yet few results were available for over 12 days. This man did not keep the patient informed of progress. Also he definitely has issues with the “alpha” knowledgeable educated woman. He has difficulty answering questions when one doesn’t understand what was said and what those words mean. He did not check the paperwork on who can receive information. His communication with patient was limited, nurse would ask how was meeting with doctor, had to say haven’t seen or heard from him for two days. My belief is that he needs to not interact with patients. Not recommended, advise you look elsewhere for care.

Dr Evers doesn’t take the time to go over your medical tests results during office visit appointments. He will freely give you a copy of your test results once you step out of his office... no opportunity to discuss.

Unemphatic attitude exhibited by Dr. Evers . Provided only negative aspects of recovery. Very sharp in his assessment of my recovering from spinal damage from metastatic breast cancer. Transferred medical care to VCU Massey Cancer Center and am cancer free. Left messaged on phone on a Thursday afternoon and would not receiver an answer until the following Thursday. Poor care and service. Would never recommend VCI.
