Dr. Joseph Jay Schwartz, MD

I visited Dr. Schwartz today and was very pleased. He removed a cyst from my face quickly with no problems and took care of my other problems swiftly! Trust me, Dr. Schwartz is exceptional. You can't lose making him your dermatologist!

Great doctors, unprofessional environment. Like most people I have to leave work to see the doctors and when I have to wait an additional 45 minutes after my appointment to be seen is unacceptable. It takes 3 months to get an appointment and an another hour to be seen. Never go here!! Find a place that is convenient and time concious.

1) The office staff is reason enough not to see this dr. If an emergency at your work requires you to miss an apt (and call to let them know beforehand), they will still charge you a $25 "no-show" fee because it wasn't 24 hours notice. HOWEVER, it is okay for them to make you wait up to an hour for your apt w/out recourse. 2) If you call to speak to the dr., the nurse will call you back. 3) The dr. prescribed a med w/ harmful potential. If not for other dr "visiting" in, I would not have known.

Made me wait 2 hrs for my appointment. I tried to reschedule after waiting 1 hour but they told me, if I reschedule there will be $40 appointments cancellation fee ! Ridiculous

Doctor was very nice, kind, courteous and attentive to my needs. I am visiting him for many years, whenever I have a need for an advice or treatment, and am always pleased with his professionalism and courtesy.

I've been dealing with the rolling eyes, the unfriendliness, and opinionated staff far too long. Once they made a mistake and they called me to return for another appointment. I did and they charged me another office visit. I complained and they blamed the insurance companies. I blame the office for making the mistake in the first place. My last visit I asked for a spot to be "removed." Not realizing they only took a "biopsy" and didn't "remove" the spot like I had asked, it came back as a basil cell. They do not listen to their patients, at least they didn't listen to me. I was furious to think I had to take more time away from work and pay another co-pay to now have the spot "removed" as I had asked in the first place. There are other derms out there.....seek another.

The staff was extremely condescending and dismissive when addressing follow-up concerns. The office staff was exceptionally rude, and it was VERY clear that no one had rwad my health history. They treatedw like an inconvenience. Never going back.

My family of 4 have been patients for the past 4 years. We have NEVER had an appointment on time. After yesterday's wait time of over an hour we left and will not be returning. The staff explained to us they have no control over how long each person waits. The office & Dr's feel that our time is not as valuable as theirs. We are a working class family that has to take time off of work for these appointments, for them to consistantly be overbooked is unprofessional. If you were to miss an appointment, or have a no show they will throw you out of the practice. So I am firing them as our Dr's.

I found this office to be helpful and Dr. Schwartz was courteous and effective and properly diagnosed and treated my basal cell ca. He followed up and there just was not a problem. Once I had to wait a bit, but that is to be expected from time to time. Generally very good and I am glad that I found Dr. Schwartz.
