My outcomes and healing after Dr Shaffer’s work were excellent. He instilled confidence as he examined the my two squamous cell locations and explained what he would do and how. He was efficient and kind. I highly recommend him and his team. .

I had a pretty ugly facial wound from a recent accident and honestly had pretty low expectations of what could be done. I was also nervous about having the wound opened up again to be re-stitched, which I knew was a possibility. Dr. Shaffer had me laughing within seconds and somehow my worries disappeared. He has a way! He took the time to explain to me the procedure and then we were on our way. My wound, even stitched up, looked better before I even left the building. Now the stitches are out and the result is a dramatic improvement. I feel blessed that Dr. Shaffer took care of me!

I am so pleased with the results following MOHS surgery with Dr. Shaffer. Since one of the locations was right above my lip, I was very anxious about how it would impact my appearance. Despite having to get a bigger area than expected removed, there is virtually no visible evidence the procedure was ever done. In fact, I have referred several people who have observed the healing process to Dr. Shaffer at their request based on the quality of his work. Additionally, Dr. Shaffer was very attentive to my anxiety around the procedure, friendly and reassuring throughout, and saw my healing through to the end, making sure I was completely satisfied with the outcome. My dad had a cancerous spot on the top of his head, it required Mohs surgery. My dad was referred to Dermatology Consultants to have the surgery. He was given an appointment a few weeks out. I received a call a day later on a Friday and they wanted my dad to come in sooner, the following Monday. The clinic staff was very kind to my dad and Dr Shaffer was very thorough in explaining what he was going to do. The surgery was performed And a pressure bandage was applied to the site. Follow up instructions were clearly gone through and we were told to call the clinic I'd we had any concerns or questions. We were also given Dr Shaffer's card with his cell number and were told to call if we had any after hours concerns. My dad felt he had the best care from a Dr Shaffer and his staff.
