Love Dr. Wieck..have been seeing him for the last year

I had been diagnosed with a lisfranc ligament rupture and fractured bones by my MD. The MD advised me to find a specialist. This was an IOD injury so my case worker had a list of doctors. I chose Dr. Wiecks without researching first. I saw the nurse and gave her paperwork where I had been diagnosed with a specific injury. I also gave her a CD with a copy of my MRI. I explain the treatment that I had been receiving from the MD and that the MD thought I had a significant injury. Dr. Wiecks looked at my foot and said that he would be back. When he came back he acted like I had a sprain and sent me home. He said sit down 5-10 min every hour. ?? At no time did he take the time to explain any of his thoughts. As a matter of fact, he didn't spend more than 3 minutes in the room with me. As I was talking to Dr. Wiecks, he was giving me a blank stare like what I was saying went in one ear and out the other. Tell me how the MD and the radiologist came to their conclusion and he's calling this a sprain? I now have two totally different Diagnosis. I sought out a 3rd opinion. Dr. Three agreed with Dr. one and wants to do surgery two weeks ago.. That is because it took two weeks to figure out what was wrong with my foot. If I would have excepted what Dr. Wiecks said, I would have extensive damage and even disabling damage down the road. He is not for the people. I've been through the mud and back. Stay clear and good luck.

Dr is okay I guess. His nurse is very unprofessional. Hope I never have to go there again. I walked out without any treatment due to his nurse. Went to TOA and was very satisfied.

My mother broke her knee. Went to StoneCrest ER. ER Doc spoke with Dr. Wieck by phone. We were told Dr. Weik wanted to see her first thing Monday. We called; Woman who was scheduling appointments indicated the Dr. was booked and couldn't see my Mother for two days. fact that the knee was broken in two, she was 80, and Dr. Wiek instructed the ER folk to have us call was immaterial. Scheduler seemed as if she couldn't have cared less... because she didn't. That lack of caring starts at the top.

Dr. Wieck did my ACL surgery. Used the wrong size and type of anchor. The anchor worked its way out of my Went back to him several times and was given creme for the swelling. Never did fix the problem had to go to another doctor at Vanderbilt. Lost all the feeling on the front of my leg. I'm not sure where he got his degree but he is the worst doctor ever.

appears not to be interested in patients. rude.

doesn't respect patients. takes very little time with them.

I went to a clinic and discovered that I had a broken arm. I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon, and must have drawn the short straw..and got "Dr" Wieck. He barely looked at my xrays (if at all), said "there's nothing wrong with your arm, you can go", and walked out of the room. I'd been unable to use my arm for weeks, cannot even grip my cell phone..and he's going to dismiss me like that. I asked if my arm isn't broken, why am I in so much pain? Why can't I use my arm?! He said he didn't know, and I could go. In tears, I went back to the original clinic and told them what happened. They took new xrays, and again said my arm was broken. They gave me better direction and my arm will heal in about a month.I've never experienced or even heard of such disregard for someone in severe pain. If you have to go to an ortho surgeon..AVOID THIS PERSON LIKE THE PLAGUE!
