Office is very pretty and clean. Staff very friendly and efficient. Medical resident clearly knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Uribe is extremely friendly and respectful. He explained in great detail what the issues were with my back and why he would NOT recommend surgery. Got to give props to a surgeon with that kind of honesty. I would highly recommend him and this office.

Terrible experience. My surgery was passed off to a new resident and Dr. Uribe, despite being promised otherwise, did not see me before the surgery. He would not answer any questions and passed everything on to his secretary. More info on Google.

After undergoing PT, 2 epidurals and waiting months to see a spine surgeon in my area I was referred to Dr. Uribe at Barrow Brain and Spine by my former spine surgeon in Michigan . Dr. Uribe explained my condition and how he would go about correcting it as best he could. I appreciated that he did not "push me into surgery" but rather told me to think about it as it was a difficult and complicated surgery. I opted to go through with it and spent a month in Barrow ( ICU, Step down, Rehab). The following 3 months post-op were very painful and challenging (I was warned) but so worth it. Having RA and scoliosis I'm not pain free but I am so much better and attribute that to Dr. Uribe's skill. I was also fortunate to reap surgical and medical talents of Dr. Nima Alan, Dr. Uribe's Fellow. Additionally, the efficiency and kindness of Briana Becker, Dr. Uribe's Lead Medical Secretary and his entire staff were and are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much to this fabulous team!

I am a 70 year old male with a severely herniated L4 and 5 disc as well as stenosis on L3. Walking and standing were very painful for years. I finally decided to get surgery. The day after surgery I was walking without pain for the first time in years! I highly recomend Dr. Uribe and his staff.

I recently had a cyst on my spine that was successfully by Dr. Uribe. DR. Uribe is an extremely skilled spinal surgeon. I have very little pain post-op and feel so relieved t be out of pain. Dr. uribe is one of the top spinal surgeons and after being treated by him you will know why!!!

Amazing team, surgical skills and clinical staff Explained honestly and direct to the point my problem. Recommended not to have surgery after other spine surgeons offered surgery. I was able to control my pain wit his pain team and now I am feeling great without taking any surgical risks.

Dr Uribe truly cared about getting the correct surgical procedure for complex spine problems. He gives realistic expectations for surgical outcomes and cares about his patients concerns.

I saw him for about 2 minutes the morning of the surgery, and then after surgery saw only his students, and some of those minions couldn't answer my questions. He said I would be pain-free after surgery. He said I would be back to normal when my back healed. A year later now, and I am still not pain-free, and not back to normal, even after a long period of physical therapy and exercise. If you need back surgery, better find someone else to trust and to earn your or your insurance company's $250,000 cost.
