Dr. Juanito Uy, MD

Rude, egotistical, and arrogant. Does not listen at all. Feel sorry for his MA who gets all the work load. Worth the 1 1/2 hr drive to obtain professional and kind medical care in Ft. Wayne. I know why staff members have left the practice. Should of listened to family members who are in the medical field and have had to deal with him. Go anywhere else.

Waited an hour and a half for 10 minute appointment that he kept repeating the same question over and over. When I tried to explain what is going on he kept interrupting me and my mother had to raise her voice to make sure that what was being documented was what we are saying. So eventually we gave up and left the appointment with no questions answered. All he did was test me for my thyroid and I have been tested for that already and that came back normal. So not a good doctor. Do not go to this doctor. I do not even want to give him one stars on here.

Found Dr. Uy to be spot-on - third endocrinologist I have experienced and am most satisfied.

I will most remember him for this matter of fact attitude. He listens to my history of my thyroglossal duct cyst and recommended surgery which I did. Thank you for saving the risk of 1% malignancy doctor. Now my thyroid cancer risk is gone.

Presently seeing Dr Uy for hyperthyroidism. He is not very sensitive to patients need and questions. Often feel like I am being talked down to and every time I try to tell him of my symptoms and my history I feel dismissed because he never offers solutions or seems empathetic. I wish I had the option of having a different doctor, but it seems that he is the only one accepting new patients. Would not recommend.
