Dr. Judy Helen Fontana, MD

I had an appointment with Dr Fontana to discuss the itching and burning surrounding a keloid. She prescribed me a cream and discussed possibly removing the keloid which wasn't the reason for my visit. I later received a bill for $200.00 because the visit was listed as treatment of Keloid, and any doctor knows you can't treat Keloid with a cream. She refused to correct the reason for my visit, and I had to go through an appeal with my insurance. I believe Hamzavi was the right facility. but I got the wrong doctor.

Dr. Fontana prescribed her own formula of face cream for dark spots on my face, which didn't work, because it was cheaper than the name brand was too expensive. Had scrapings of a nail because it was malformed TWICE and was told I needed a third appointment to get results! Very dissatisfied ! Tried to cancel appointment, called 5 times before I reached them because they apparently were too busy to answer the phone! I still don't have a diagnosis!
