Dr. Judy C Googins, MD

Horrible service every time I go in. I have yet to have a positive experience in her office. Front desk staff is extremely rude and judgmental. Only open 3 days a week and closes at 3 so good luck getting in if you can’t get off work. Dr is extremely judgmental as well.

Dr. Googins is a personable psychiatrist who listens and is very knowledgeable in her field. She talks to you about what she thinks and what the medications do. She works to get the right dosage and correct medication for the problem. She lets you know she cares and is willing to work with you to solve your situation. I recommend her highly.

Dr Googins is caring and really listened to my symptoms and concerns. She is knowledgable and communicates well. I have recommended her to friends.

Totally incompetent. Checked with other professionals about things she said and without fail, they looked at me with profound confusion as to why any psychiatrist would say these things. Her apparent lack of medical knowledge was confirmed, not only by these other medical professionals, but also by routine research with resources such as Epocrates. ( I would elaborate more, but I'm trying to keep some privacy and full explanations would take far longer than I already have)

Transferred from another doctor to Dr. Googins and she was immediately able to help me and diagnose the problem. She discusses the medication with you so you know what it does. Nothing is hidden. It's nice to be able to talk with a doctor so openly about everything.

Inflexible, unwilling to work with others in the care team, utterly insensitive.
