Born in Southern California, Dr. Friedman attended Tufts University as an undergraduate. He then worked for the University of Miami Tissue Bank before heading to New York City for medical school. While at New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Friedman received the Civilian Service Award from the Israeli Defense Force for his extraordinary efforts to create a student association whose purpose was to enrich the medical education and global experiences of medical students. He went on to perform his specialty training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the New York Medical College associated hospitals in Valhalla, New York. He moved back to California for Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma from the University of Southern California. During his training, he lectured and published on ankle fractures and their variants. He further enriched his education with additional training in Soft Tissue Reconstruction, also at University of Southern California. Dr. Friedman is licensed to …practice medicine in Florida and California and has now joined the team of experts at Kendall Regional Medical Center as an Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon.

Dr. Friedman is fluent in Spanish and enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, SCUBA diving and Beach Volleyball.

The physician's assistant is excellent but I only saw Dr Friedman twice in the 3 months after leaving the hospital. I understand that he is really busy but I didn't feel like I could ever call and actually have a conversation with the doctor if I had an important question. There are just a lot of layers between the patient and the doctor.

Great doctor, great workers, great team, they make us feel it's was going too be ok after my son broke his femur and he was there at the ER trying too help us in our darkest moment he was the great support and my son and I just thinks his just do catering and so nice and always here for us his the best in miami she be awared for best careing doctor

Great doctor, great staff! Very little waiting time. Everyone was very attentive and kept me informed throughout the visit. Doctor has a great bedside manner, explained everything in layman's terms and the shot in the shoulder didn't even hurt. Thx doc!!! I feel much better!!!!

Dr. Friedman is an outstanding doctor and person. His expertise, dedication, intellect, and compassion is a cedit to the medical profession. Dr. Friedman is an exemplar surgeon. He was there for us in our time of need (still is).

Doctor Friedman staff were able to take x-rays on the spot, immediately after noticing I forgot my disc with the xray images. All the work areas were clean. Shortly after I saw Friedman, gave me a comforting diagnosis of my situation. Performed a couple of test manually and offered solutions. Shortly after, I was being prepared for an in room operation that went amazingly well. Zero complains.
