Dr. Justin Steele

From first visit to post op appointment , Dr. Steele made me feel confident he can help me. I had a hiatal hernia that alter my life in every way. He removed it by laporoscopic procedure. I felt so light and myself after surgery,easy recovery, liquid diet for a while but now I can eat solids w. v little bother. He visited me in hospital bed, he made sure I recover well. A prince. A diamond in lap surgery , he did not hesitate to help. 2 months after hernia surgery I can bearly see the incisions and can wear 2 piece bathing suite in Aruba v soon. V. compasionate, v. smart.

I have a lot to say about this doctor but will limit myself to saying no doctor leaves town immediately after surgery and not have a doctor on call!! That’s irresponsible of this doctor regardless of his situation to leave out of town and fending for myself to go to a 45 min drive to emergency room and be told by another doctor that Dr. Steele is indeed irresponsible for not leaving a doctor on call for an entire week. That really makes me think what kinda doctor is this. Also never came to see me after surgery in recovery unbelievable.

I had a bilateral inguinal laparoscopic hernia repair by Dr. Steele. I was impressed by his professionalism, experience, bed side manner and skills. The night of the surgery, I only needed Tylenol for pain and was able to go out with my friends for dinner; no one noticed i was status post surgery that same day. Naeem

Dr. Steele is a pro! I first consulted with him to discuss repair for an inguinal hernia. He took time to get to know me and his manner was upbeat and friendly. His office team was friendly and helpful too. I informed Dr. Steele that I golfed and wanted to know the "target" date for my return to the links. He listened carefully and explained the surgical options, including recovery time, in detail. I opted for laparoscopic repair which went smoothly and was over in about an hour. He contacted my wife soon after the surgery to assure her that everything went well and to apprise her when she could visit me in recovery. It is also noteworthy that the recovery staff was terrific! During my follow-up visit, he assured me that everything was fine. After we discussed my progress, he reiterated my golf return date, including a schedule to begin exercising again. Overall, a worry free experience, that went as planned, thanks to Dr. Steele. I highly recommend him!

Dr.Steele is an excellent surgeon. He is a doctor who really cares about his patients. From the first time I met him I knew I was in good hands. He took the time to answer all my questions about my medical problem. I had a bilateral Inguinal laparoscopy surgery and everything thing went very well. I actually did not need any pain medication after the surgery. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Steele performed a very complicated and critical surgery on my dad who at 84, was limited with surgical options in New Jersey. Dr. Steele and his team came up with a unique approach that has now provided him with added longevity and quality of life. From start to finish outstanding experience.

Doctor is not prompt. Never returns calls or emails and doesn't look at reports that he requests. I have waited and left messages/emails and no response. Plus his staff is inconsistent too many errors. Not worth the stress of dealing with this office

I recommend this doctor. Couldn't be nicer and also efficient friendly and top surgeon.
