Dr. Kala R Dharma has the following 2 specialties
Anesthesiologists are physicians who are trained to administer anesthetics, which are medicines used to block nerve sensation. Anesthesia can be either local to one specific part of a body, like a tooth, or regional to block feeling to a larger portion of the body, such as during an epidural for child birth. It can also be more general to block sensation to the entire body, resulting in unconsciousness.
Anesthesiologists assist in surgery by determining how much anesthesia is necessary and by monitoring the patient's level of responsiveness and vital signs throughout the procedure. The anesthesia specialist will also bring the patient out of anesthesia and then continue to monitor his or her vital signs post-operation.
Besides assisting in surgeries, anesthesiologists may also treat patients suffering from chronic pain.
- Obstetrics and Gynecology
An obstetrician & gynecologist, or OB/GYN, is a physician who cares for women throughout their pregnancies, straight through to the delivery of their baby (obstetrician). They also specialize in annual care, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the female reproductive system (gynecologist). Many physicians specialize in both of these fields in order to provide complete overall health services to women at every stage of life.

What can I say about Doctors Dharma? Not to mention her nursing assistants? Omg! They feel like family. I know that people only know what they hear from others. But you don't know what you are missing out on. Awesome, friendly staff. Very little to almost no waiting time. Quiet and relaxing. So understanding no matter if you're a soon-to-be, 1st time mother or a mother of multiples and they don't judge. The rumors that I have heard about how terrible they are simply rumors spread by childish people. Their costs haven't gone up. They've never denied either of my insurance companies. Now, ask yourself, do you want to be treated like family OR be treated like a paycheck?
I have had several other OBGYN's and none even compare to the care I received by Dr. Dharma. Even after I had my baby she talked to me with deep concern about every aspect of my life, she treated me in a very professional manner but also a very friendly manner. I consider her a friend. Thank you Dr. Rachel Dharma and all the staff at Women's Clinic!
I have nothing bad to say about this office. Dr. Dharma and her Nurses are absolutely wonderful. They took care of me my whole pregnancy. I am an anxious person so I felt the need to know everything or almost everything. Dharma educated me so much and it took a lot of the stress of my pregnancy. It is a very comfortable place with a friendly staff! They are their for your best interest!!!
I love Dr. Dharma!! I'm on Medicaid and I had a miscarriage and it was my first baby and she was more than helpful in answering my questions and was there for me the whole entire time! I wouldn't want to go to anyone else! She made me feel very comfortable helped ease my anxiety at my first appointment, then my ultrasound. So very helpful and wonderful! I love it here!!
