People love to whine and complain on these sites. Ignore them! I'm with Cedar's group with an HMO and the neurologists they sent me to said they's be happy to see me two months from now. I needed a neurologist now without the "two months from" part. Dr. Altman (and her nice staff) were able to squeeze me in in a very timely manner (my condition was deteriorating) and Dr. Altman herself was the epitome of professionalism. So pay no attention to the complainers.

Bella (who answers the phone) rudely put me on hold for over 6 minutes, after providing me with info on what they need from me to become a patient. She then comes back on the phone and I requested to speak with the office manager, Annie. Bella tells me that if it's about the requirements for the new patient that Annie would not talk to me. I explained it was about Bella's rudeness. So Bella has placed me again on a very extended hold after telling me that Annie would probably not speak to me about my concerns especially if they have to do with the "process and requirements" for becoming a patient. I continue to wait as I write this review... Funny how the experience you encounter with the office staff precludes all communication with the doctor and given the way I've been treated, I'm losing interest fast in becoming a NEW patient. Wow! Still holding the 2nd time, now OVER 9 minutes and counting....

Have been going to Dr Altman since 2002. She has always been attentive , knowledgeable and courteous . She has treated me respectfully and thoroughly. I would recommend her and have t my family and friends.

Dr Altman got to know our Family 7 years ago on the worst day of our lives! we had just been given tan awful DX mind you after going all over the country! Dr Altman is extremely blunt to the point because she knows what she is talking about! the brightest of the brightest! she also knows exactly what you need when its the hard truth with a hug and laughter when it was so called for. We Trust her completely.. and she is a beautiful heart, I should know I have broken through her tough exterier and believe she is Loving caring beyond words..
