Dr. Katherine E Lee Kang, MD

I honestly left this appointment feeling shaken and disrespected. While I was sitting there in a medical gown, the doctor started talking to me about money and payments, which made me feel completely uncomfortable and violated. That is not the time or place for that kind of conversation. I felt exposed and like my dignity didn’t matter. The whole experience felt cold and unprofessional. The office itself was also dirty and unwelcoming — it didn’t feel like a safe or clean medical environment at all. I’ve never left a gynecologist’s office feeling so uneasy. I will never go back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

5 years ago dr Kang was my only female choice due to my insurance and wish I would've choose any other dr over this female one. I was having condition SPD when I told her abt my symptoms she said it is ur hormones will go away, but when I give birth I was absolutely paralyzed the pain was 1000X more, I woke up at night and I couldn't go bathroom, didnt call nurse coz I thought I am being brad and was embarrassed to call them for help(eventually did after crying and going through excruciating pain) hospital send me to xray and yes my pelvis bone was separated, I suffered more then a year with my condition. Later I ask her did u know what was going to happen to me and she said yes. I would've prepare myself mentally if I knew abt this condition, it is her job to inform me. I have bad memories with my 2nd child's birth. Dr kang barely talks, she just check u up and then she disappears without saying anything, office lady will let u know to leave, she hides at her office. No advice… whatsoever, she chooses the shortest answer as possible. When I was giving birth umbilical cord was wrapped around my baby's neck and dr freaked out and she checked baby's heart monitor, it was fallen out. I almost lost my baby coz of this moron and she was blaming nuses for this. I absolutely NOT recommend this, she is terrible, she doesn't worth any star at all.

Went in to see Dr. Kang for the first time for week 8 pregnancy checkup. Dr. Kang took the time to answer all of our questions. She showed a lot of patience in answering all our questions. So far so good!

WORST experience. My story may sound unbelievable, but I am not exaggerating one bit. Our baby's heart stopped beating at 8 weeks. We went in for a procedure to remove the fetus. During our pre-consult, we asked Kang's partner a series of questions. Me: Doctor we have some questions about the surgery. Doctor: The baby's heart already stopped beating, whats the big deal? Me: What is the procedure like? Doctor: I'm just scraping everything out.Stop worrying, it's routine. I am still in shock. Unbelievable.

She was extremely brisk and rude. She did not explain details of medicine she was prescribing. She made disapproving expressions with terse statement of disapproval. She also wrote the wrong prescription and did not care to correct it when I contacted her afterwards. I will not be seeing her again!

After having switched doctors from Hoboken, NJ, to here, I was so relieved to find a doctor who was accessible and paid attention to me. Also, the nurse, receptionist and staff are always so professional, compassionate and wonderful! I say all this because I have had such horrendous experience at a Hoboken clinic where I felt like a number and people treated their patients with disrespect and carelessness. I am grateful to have found Dr. Kang and her practice!!!

The doctor didn't answer to my questions clearly but claimed $200 to my insurance.
