Dr. Kathleen Sojourner Stinson, MD

Dr. Stinson and her colleagues at Dripping Springs Pediatrics are all sensational! I was recommend to them as a parent with a newborn and 2.5 years later they have never disappointed. This last year was especially difficult for my medically needy and special needs child. He was hospitalized numerous times and diagnosed with nonverbal Autism. Dr. Stinson has been there every step of the way. She listens to my concerns, frustrations as a parent, and takes her time each and every time examining my child. Each hospitalization she was calling me after hours during our stays to ask how things were going and how she could help. When the children’s hospital missed a very big and potentially life threatening diagnosis, dismissing my son while he was still very ill, Dr. Stinson met with me in her office to go over his chart and symptoms one by one, day by day, and ordered tests of her own. She contacted the required specialists and my child was readmitted to the hospital to receive the urgent… care he needed the next day and treated for Kawasaki Disease saving his precious little heart. She always goes above and beyond and I know she truly cares for my child.

I have recommended my friends to take their children to the good doctor. She spent enough time with us and was EXCELLENT with my boys who are both teenagers. She answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. My children love her and did not feel that she treated them like babies. Her diagnosis was right-on and she made everything very easy. One son sufferd from MRSA and she was on the money in getting him the care that he needed. This is the kind of doctor that I wish that I had for myself!
