Quack! Beware!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kate's for approx 15 yrs. She is excellent, up on all modalities for holistic medicine and does testing that you won't find in most family practices. She wants to get to the root of your problem and there may be several. Yes you have to wait for her because she is giving her last patient the time needed to go over testing results and her protocol for them, as she takes that same time for you as well. Her staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. She has helped me stay healthy and given me the time and the necessary tools to stay healthy. I am upset as I recently moved out of state and cannot seem to find anyone of her caliber. So I HIGHLY recommend her.

Dr. Thomsen is one of a kind. She is the most wonderful, caring and knowledgeable Doctor I have ever been too. Yes, I usually have to wait to see her, but that is because she spends the time necessary to review your case and results. Yes you pay for her time, because the insurance companies don't pay her for what she does and the tests she needs. She is beyond their comprehension. If you are sick, and no other Doctor is helping you - GO SEE HER.

She is great to talk to in her office, when you are paying for her time (she does not take insurance but the office gives you a form to send to your ins. - they tell you this before you make an appointment, which is good). She will not talk to patients on the phone, which is something I didn't expect. When I called, I had to speak with the office staff or nurse & they did not always give me correct information. Several times, they gave me incorrect information. When I brought this to her attention, she said that her staff was well trained. I would have thought that she would be more concerned about her patient than her staff, since the patient is the one paying for the service.You are informed that if you are late, your visit will be cut short & you will pay for the entire time you were scheduled for, but I have had to wait 50 to 60 minutes & there is no compensation for that, except an apology. She does have a great personality & seems caring when you talk to her in person & when… she examines you.She is nicer than another doctor I went to, for similar services.
