First meet ,greet ,& consult on a holiday Friday 3:15 appt . I was seen before my appointment amazing . Dr.Artz was very professional & patient w my questions . She is a very clear communicator. As referred by my trusted primary I could be more confident to trust Dr.Artz as well !

Katie S Artz performed hernia surgery on me over a year ago but recklessly damaged the nerve of my leg. I went back for post-surgery checkup, she assured me that my leg would be ok and regain the feeling in a month or so. She made excuses that once all the swelling are gone, I would love the result and able to do my sports and hobbies again in no time. It has been over a year now, and my leg has lost feeling completely. I can't feel a thing even with bee sting or you stab my leg with a knife. If I lift something like just a chair, I will have the nerve pain up to my groin for a week and limp around these days. Stay away from this hog butcher unless you want to have no feeling on your entire leg. Someone please take her license away. Rest a sure, a lawsuit is coming her way.

I think people should know about Dr. Artz! She is everything and more of what you would expect from a great physician. As I was leaving my last appointment I told her that I hope never to come back. She nodded and smile. Though if I ever needed a surgeon, she is the #1 on my call list!

Excellent Surgeon, compassionate, kind, and you know she cares about her patients. She answered all my questions. Helped me feel at ease the morning of surgery. Her office is well run, and she never kept me waiting in lobby or exam room more than a few minutes.

I saw Dr. Katie Artz for an umbilical hernia consultation (26 weeks pregnant). Exceptional bedside manner. She explained procedure and answered all questions. If I could double the 5 stars I would. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Artz to family and friends. Beautiful clean practice, friendly welcoming staff. Thank you Dr. Artz!

Professionalism And Kindness

Dr,Adtz is a very friendly down to earth person.i felt good going to her and talking to her about my situation. She examined me knew exactly what the problem was. No hesitation in making a plan to take care of the problem. Surgery went well. And I must say that it was really different from the last hernia surgery. I am 4 1/2. Months out from surgery. I can't even feel were the mesh is everything is smooth. Last time I had a big ridge or knot in my stomach . The surgeon that performed the the surgery before did not do it right. I had problems from the start. So glad that two of my friends recommend Dr Artz she did a great job. Like they said she would. If i had anything negative to say it would be that she is very; fast. What i mean is she talks fast so you have to keep up. She doesn't linger with you. She is focused on getting the problem solved. But if you have questions or concerns she will answer you. And she doesn't make you feel like she is to busy for you. So you… just have to stop her and ask the question you need, and she will answer. Thank Dr Katie Artz for making me whole again ??????

If you have any hernia mesh issues steer far away from this'' doctor''.I am waiting on a law firm to receive my medical records to see if my mesh is one of the recalled ones. I have a plug on one side of my inguinal areas so it might be a PerFix Plug.In the interim Dr. Artz was mentioned for being helpful for individuals who have hernia mesh issues and after reading all the reviews I was really excited to be seen and some hope to at least see what IS wrong. But because I mentioned she was recommended by a law firm employee and a possible law suit might....might be involved I was never seen. I just wanted to be seen by someone who could tell me what could be wrong with me as I am in very bad pain.I have AHCCCS and no income because of this mesh....typical ''doctor'' when mesh issues arise.
