Dr. Kaylah Rondon, MD

Dr Rondon seems preoccupied with events in her own life. Mix that with a certain dose of self importance and the image of a cold gynecologist emerges. She cannot keep her appointments and being 45-50 min late is totally acceptable to her. Dare to complain and she will refuse care and leave the room unabashed.

I was conflicted on writing this because Dr. Rondon is nice. Not overly nice, just status quo nice. But some of her decisions put my and my babies health at risk (I was already high risk) and I feel compelled to share my story in case it can save other expecting mothers trouble. #1 I suffer from chronic vomiting my entire pregnancy. Each visit from day one I complained and she was dismissive. Saying it'll go away and/or I just have to ride it out. My condition was so bad I was vomiting bile and blood. Called after hours a few times and got the same apathetic response. I am lucky to have found a more compassionate doctor to prescribe me something that has really given me my life back and able me to nurish myself and my baby as should be. #2 I had a pre-existing chronic condition which had been under control do to a strict medicine regiment. My first Prenatal visit with Dr. Rondon she insisted I stop my medication. She didnt do any research on my background or consult with the… doctor I was seeing who put me on those meds. She didn't know enough about my medical history to make that call and while it didn't feel right I decided to trust her because she wears the white coat and I don't. Well halfway through my pregnancy I had severe complications due to being off my medication. It was a nightmare and scary. I had to leave her care and found a much better OB that has undone a lot of the harm she unnecessarily caused .
