Dr. Kenneth Harry Eckhert, MD

Dr. Eckhert basically saved my life. Another surgeon had performed surgery on me twice and I still ended up back in the hospital when a PA suggested that I have Dr Eckhert do my third surgery. He did it and I felt like a new man afterwards. He is a very kind and understanding man as well as a fantastic surgeon. Thank you again Dr Eckhert.

Had a terrible time scheduling diagnostic appointments and finally spoke with office manager. The new surgical scheduler was not transparent that a date for GERD surgery was contingent upon the TIF rep being there- I made extensive arrangements to travel some 5 hours for the procedure only to have it changed. the office is all out of sorts about COVID- we all are- but if they are offering medical care, I will tell Dr. E the next time I see him myself I do not expect a crap show from his staff. If they can not do the job, just stay home. I am going there for my health not a mental breakdown by his staff that then impacts my health. The way the office is run predates covid anyways. Can update on how surgery goes.

Dr. Eckhert is a rare combination of a talented surgeon who’s empathetic, patient, and kind! I would give him ten stars if I could. His office staff is also excellent!

I have dealt with him a few times and he has been a kind and very professional person who knows his profession very well. I would recommend him to anyone.

He has outstanding knowledge in the health care field and his bedside manners are impeccable. He makes all visits go smooth in the aspect that he listens and you have a very comfortable feeling and trust about him. He is more than a doctor he cares for his parents and doesnt make you feel like a number. Best doctor I have ever had. I highly recommend him to anyone.

He saved my life from a perforated ulcer. Follow up was great and I also had him do the endoscopy. I highly recommend him.

Had a simple surgery in July. Ended up back in Mercy twice following it for pain. Second time they found foreign metallic objects left in my abdomen and proceeded to do a second surgery. Didn't remove them but verified there was no bowel preferation. Refuses to call with follow up results.

Our son has a rare endocrine disorder that required the removal of one of his adrenal glands. He developed a growth known as a pheo. There are very few surgeons who are versed with this condition and are willing to perform surgery on a patient with this condition. Dr. Eckhert happens to be one of the very few surgeons in Buffalo that is not only knowledgeable, but is willing to perform such a surgery. Patients with this condition have often traveled to the NIH in Maryland to have this type of procedure done. Dr Eckhert was beyond professional and extremely qualified to perform this surgery. He defines excellence and possess a wonderful bedside manner. He was focused and so very kind. We are lucky to have had such a caring and wonderful doctor

His medical skills and bedside manner are great,he follows up with his aftercare and takes the time to listen to patients.He's definitely a Dr other physicians should learn from as he is just the sweetest with the best bedside manner.ð???
