Dr. Kenneth John Hunt, MD

My mother consulted three foot specialists and elected to go with Dr Hunt for a successful foot osteotomy and tendon repair. His fellow helped with post-operative questions and medications and Dr Hunt was compassionate and patient during office consultations. Highly recommended.

Dr. Hunt is extremely difficult to get a hold of. When you do see him, he is knowledgable and has good bedside manner. But trying to reach him is a nightmare. Appointments last 4 hours which is simply unfortunate.

Dr. Hunt knows his stuff. He does not give you the run around by going through a mental checklist of possible ailments for the patient (and later physical therapist) to suffer the frustration of pinpointing. Instead, he started by feeling my ankle, and could tell by feeling the ligaments, tendon and bone what the issues were. Later the xray confirmed everything he felt. His diagnosis was spot-on, and thusly the physical therapy was very specific and worked.

If he is a foot specialist. Why couldn't he figure out I had a Neroma on my foot? He referred me to a nerve doctor. My podiatrist figured out the problem and gave me a cortisone shot to relieve the pain.

If only the staff was half as competent as the Dr. it would be a perfect world.
