Dr. Andrew Volodymyr Pytiak

My teenage daughter shattered her knee cap and had two surgeries by Dr. Andrew Pytiak in 2020. The first surgery was a knee cap reconstruction that had to be performed 2 months after the incident because the hospitals shut down for “elective” surgeries during COVID 2020. Dr. Pytiak had to deal with removing the pieces of bone/cartilage that tried to absorb back into her body over the two-month delay and then he reconstructed the knee cap with a cadaver bone graft. The second surgery, one month later, was an MPFL reconstruction. Dr. Pytiak was an amazing surgeon and made my 13-year-old daughter feel reassured and comfortable through this very unfortunate experience. Seven months after the first surgery, my daughter has been released from physical therapy for all of her athletic activities included competitive volleyball, running, and swimming. We are very grateful for Dr. Pytiak’s ability to do this kind of work. The Rocky Mountain Pediatric Ortho One facility was wonderful to work… with and very supportive through the many scheduling activities and appointments we had during COVID 2020.

Dr. P fixed our son's femur after he broke it playing football last year. We were surprised how quickly he got back to walking and how small his scars are. He is back to playing this season and we couldn't be happier!

Our teenage daughter tore her ACL while playing soccer. At first we were very worried and devastated. We met with Dr. Pytiak and he took us through the injury, treatment options and what the recovery period looks like. She has since made a complete recovery and has returned to playing soccer, we couldn't be happier with our experience.

Dr Pytiak made what was a difficult situation as stress free as possible. From our initial interaction, we were put at ease as he was friendly, clearly explained what was going on, and how he reached his diagnosis. He then took time to describe his recommended course of treatment, going through all pros and cons and potential outcomes. What impressed me most, he took time to speak to my young son directly, telling him what was happening, and what the plan of action was. My son has had a picture perfect recovery. Highly recommended!

my son broke his arm and dr. pytiak came in at 2am to fix it. he is so dedicated to his work, has great bedside manner and is genuinely caring. i hope no one has to go through what we did, but dr. pytiak kept us calm the entire time and walked us through the procedure and what to expect. thanks dr pytiak- jeffs parents!
