Dr. Kenneth Lim, DO

Office is a bit trashy, not professional. Dr Lim is very dismissive and told my husband to “YouTube it”. Also, never said he had a kidney stone, report shows a 6mm one. Definitely going somewhere else.

Dr. Lin is a very good and thorough doctor. He is very gentle and answers all my questions. I feel safe in his office.

Knowledge and understanding of issues is excellent.

I have been to more urologists over the last 20 years than I can count. I've NEVER found one that has much of a bedside manner. Not sure why. lol I do like Dr. Lim because he doesn't throw things at you. You have to take your health into your own hands and ask the questions. I've learned so much over the last two years working with him, and appreciate the fact that he doesn't rush into surgery. He didn't want to do surgery on me because of so many past surgeries for other things. Now it's to the point I need to get them out and I trust his knowledge and experience to have him perform it.

He is a very positive and extremely smart in his field. He was able to diagnosis my problems and make recommendations to correct my problem. I received medication that same day and the issues were now controlled. He is a very happy / quick witted doctor who makes you feel comfortable immediately. He actually is far away from my residence, but I will travel to him because I consider him a diamond in the rough.

I have been to all 3 of Dr. Lim's locations. The Milford location had no idea what was going on with my case. They asked me what my PSA number was instead of knowing it before I came for my appt. After my biopsy, I was told to leave with no explanation of side effects and to call the following Friday for test results. Dr. Lim did call to tell me I had prostate cancer over a 2 minute conversation. I could write a few more paragraphs, but I will just say the communication skills are sorely lacking in this office and I am going somewhere else.

All around he is an excellent physician.

Dr. Lim would not write me a note stating I had a problem urinating because it was for court. Instead he started me on a medication that he said I may need for life without doing a cystoscopy first for an accurate diagnosis and he said now the problem is fixed. He had the worst bedside manner I've seen and was reluctant to believe I had a urinating problem until I reminded him to look into my surgical history I provided to him showing I had a bladder sling. I was violated in court since he would not write me a note for the problem. Very judgmental and unprofessional because of my circumstances. I needed the note for an alternative testing method in court, and I saw him because my physician referred me to him to find out what the problem was and to get documentation from a Urologist for court. He thought I had a drug problem and was trying to hide something. I don't. I was there for a diagnosis and treatment. Every person on any kind of probation in Oakland County must drug/alcohol… test. It doesn't mean you're truly a criminal nor does it mean you're on drugs. I told him I had to hold my urine for 5-6 hours to be able to give a urine sample on demand. I know that can't be healthy! I'm disappointed in the care I received from this physician. Rant over.

Very unprofessional in my opinion, to the point of embarrassment. Glossed over the exam, didn't heed or understand my main issue or concerns at all it seemed. I was left dumbfounded and upset.
