Dr. Jay Benjamin Hollander, MD

Dr Jay Hollander had no bedside manners. He is presumptuous and full of himself. Keep a copy of your medical history with you all the time because every time you see him you will have to remind him the history. He has no memory of it and he doesn’t look in the chart to read his own notes before walking in to see his patient. He left the door ajar and didn’t even pull the curtain to reassure my privacy before asking me to undress. As a doctor myself I found him seriously lacking in bedside manners. He also dictates the patient notes right in the area where other people can hear him so talk about HIPPA violation. After the procedure I was bleeding at night and neither he or anyone else covering him returned my call. If they treat their doctor colleagues like this I don’t even want to know how they treat other patients.

Down to earth, not arrogant. Takes his time, based on the patient's needs. Explains things. Highly competent.

Excellent Doctor when he discovered there may be a problem he was caring and very accurate as to what to do.
