Dr. Kevin J Gilbert, MD

I previously wrote a very negative review for Dr. Gilbert titled above and would very much like to clear things up and provide an update. Within 24 hrs of my review the office & Dr. Gilbert reached out. We had open dialogue and He made sure to make things right with me. I would love to be able to erase my review previously made but it doesnt seem to be that simple. I will be sure to give an office/business the opportunity to address the issue before ever writing another negative review, to provide a chance to make things right. That is something I have learned through this experience and that there is also still very good Doctors who do care. I decided I took the time to write the negative review and that I should take the time to clear that up as well. Dr. Gilbert made the effort to do the right thing and address my issues. I will continue to be his patient as he graciously agreed to continue being my provider. I have worked with Doctors for 23 yrs and the manner and speed in which… Dr. Gilbert and his staff addressed & responded to make things right was pretty amazing, especially in this day and age where that is so rare! I have NEVER been offended by a Doctor, like I was with this man! If I could give him minus a star, I would. My 1st visit wasn't as bad as this last one but He acted upset because I had emailed his office and he only saw me once before and then treated me rudely and like I was there for some other reason. Both times he didn't really ask questions relating to my issues. I was so upset leaving that office, I wouldn't take my dog to see him! I only picked him because of his reviews and because I needed a Doctor closer to where I work! I'll be going back to my previous doctor's office who always treated me well. His staff is very nice. I'm a very positive & humble person, so to write this is not easy but he made me feel terrible leaving that office.

I like the office and the staff, not a lot of waiting. I don't feel like one of many. Its the Dr. I see and make appt. with. I also like theres a pharmacy there and a silver sneakers. Good Parking. The Dr. Gilbert is good at hearing everything. Good luck, good recommendation.

Dr Gilbert is an excellent provider, very thorough, caring and exceptionally knowledgeable. He is very reliable and punctual in seeing his patients. I have never had a doctor call in results of varied tests; labs, mammogram etc. He provides that reassurance that is needed. Amazing!!! We couldn’t ask for a better provider. Our family trusts him as well as his staff. They are courteous and highly professional. Thank you

He is cold, mean, aloof, makes mistakes due to cockiness, and it's not truthful. Aside from other things, he tried to pad my bill with over $800 of useless tests. When I called him out on it, only after receiving my labwork bill, this was when he realized I was not on insurance. Dr. Gilbert looked me directly in the face and lied to me, circumvented me, and tried to get paid with extra testing he thought would go under the radar. He made a huge mistake.

I have been going to Dr. Gilbert for 18 years. He is very thorough in searching for the answers to a health problem, whether it means further tests or sending you to a specialist if he doesn't know the answers. When he does do testing, I have never waited longer than 48 hours for any result, and he personally calls me, not a staff member. He may not always have the greatest bedside manner, but all things considered, Dr. Gilbert is an excellent physician.

Dr. Gilbert has some what of a dry personality. But he is a good doctor. I never have problems getting through to the office or setting an appointment. They always refill my medications. I have been with the office for at least 10 years. His staff rarely changes in the last 10 years. You always get in and out quickly and he addresses all of your needs at the time.

HE IS A GREAT DOCTOR I AM STILL YOUNG BUT HE HAS BEEN MY DOC SINCE I MOVED HERE 30 YEARS AGO. HE NO NONSENSE PERSON. WONT GIVE YOU DRUGS, HE IS NOT ONE OF THOSE KIND OF DOCS.

why have my complaints have been misdiagnosed or ignored so many times? a new staff denied refills on my new heart meds 4 times in 1 month, that resulted in extended use of another drug with major lasting side effects, same staff member refused knowledge of my repeated request for another med and all the fax sent by walgreens for that same drug, 5 months it went on. while my body was on a rollercoaster due to her mean hatefull childish crimes. NOTHING was done by the dr to correct that insanity. well it all came to clear when i was re-injured due to the dr using physical manipulation where none was to be done, and the whole time my extensive chart showed the fragile state of my chronic injuries and disabilities. all of which were never even acknowledged by the dr and that is when i realized all the while i was and had been treated as if i were just a drug addict. events seem to be getting better now. no more manipulation, physical or with prescription request. i actually feel a… touch of respect from the dr after that red faced incident with me and my chart. my prayers do get answered, God i do give you thanks.
