Dr. Liubou Uslar, MD

Dr. Liv has been an incredible doctor for me. She really listens and takes the time to understand the whole picture. She helped me with several health concerns, including anemia, my enlarged prostate, testosterone and hormone-related issues, and back pain. I had already seen three urologists without getting the results I needed, but Dr. Liv was able to help me in a way that made a real difference. When I first met her, I was extremely tired, had very little energy, and was dealing with several symptoms. Today, I feel much better and like a completely different person. As we jokingly say in Brazil, it feels like I got a whole new Social Security number! I’m truly grateful to Dr. Liv and highly recommend her! Tales Miranda

Unprofessional

My partner Mack and I had new patient appointments, primary concern being his back pain. The doctor pushed for extra testing ("You don't have allergies? We recommend this allergy test for everybody!"), I asked if it would cost more and she dismissively said “it’s covered by insurance”. We unwittingly incurred a deductible of $1316 on two allergy tests and a sleep test we didn't need. We were billed for three EKGs, when only one had been done. We did the sleep test for one night instead of two because the kit they gave us was incomplete, but we were billed for two nights regardless. I had to call the billing department to correct these issues. We both did the same blood work, but Mack’s came back with missing entries, e.g. the A1C and cholesterol levels were absent. Their "referral" for us to get an X-ray elsewhere didn't work. All of these issues arose in our two visits with the doctor's office (at time of writing, Columbus Medical Arts), and then we obviously changed providers.
