Dr. Kevin R Scott, MD

I waited over 3 months for a consultation with Dr Kevin Scott to have a cosmetic lower eyelid blepharoplasty surgery. His consultation fee was $195. His website shows he does both internal approach, an incision made behind the lower eyelid, and the external approach, an incision made outside the lower eyelid that allows the muscle of the lower eyelid to be tightened. At the time I made an appointment, I told his office staff I was looking for the best options between these two surgeries. However, during 10-minute consultation, Dr Kevin Scott told me I was not a candidate for the internal approach, and I should go for the external approach, but he does not do this type of surgeries. I got a short recommendation on a piece of paper. That's it. So, if you need a cosmetic plastic surgery for your eyes, think twice if Dr Kevis Scott is the right surgeon for you.

Dr. Scott removed a chalazion and did a terrific job. Mainly, he listened to my concerns, explained what he was doing and why. There was also good follow-up with his office.

My ophthalmologist recommended Dr. Scott and two other doctors to me for consultation regarding my upper eyelid drooping problem. I’m so glad that I made right decision not to seek other opinions after seeing Dr. Scott the first time. I had blepharoplasty and fraction laser resurfacing procedures with Dr. Scott in mid May 2019. I told Dr. Scott that I was very conservative when it came to my face. I didn’t like drastic change; I just wanted to look freshening. The result is exactly what I expect. I’m at the week six after my blepharoplasty surgery and fraction laser resurfacing procedure, and I’m very happy looking in a mirror without makeup. Dr. Scott was very honest to me about the side effects and how the end result would be with my procedures. I like Dr. Scott, for he does not over promise or tries to introduce unnecessary procedures. In addition, Dr. Scott has a very good staffs working for him. These ladies are very nice and professional. They answered all my… questions/concerns anytime I called before my surgery. I’d like to thank Dr. Scott and his staffs for their outstanding services. I’d recommend Dr. Scott to my friends in the future.

Dr Scott & his staff are superb, delivering excellent medical and surgical services in a friendly, professional milieu. He literally reconstructed my eyelids after a nasty infection, and he has helped my friends with controlling eye spasms. His filler technique is unparalleled. 6 stars if I had them to give!

About 6 months ago I decided to have surgery on my eyelids as well as on the bags under my eyes. I went to 2 plastic surgeons - both came highly recommended. Both of the surgeons recommended that I see Dr. Scott. One of the surgeons had actually sent his wife to see Dr. Scott! Upon my initial meeting with Dr. Scott I found that he listened to and addressed each one of my concerns. He discussed all of my options and, after answering every single one of my questions, helped me to decide which procedure would best. When I asked about having my upper eyelids lifted, his recommendation was that I did not need to have an upper eyelid blepharoplasty, nor did I need the re-surfacing as I did not have many wrinkles. I appreciated that he wasn't trying to perform several unnecessary procedures! 1 month later I decided to have the lower lid blepharoplasty done. He and his staff thoroughly reviewed what I needed to do before and after the surgery to have the best results, as well as… what to expect. I felt that I was well-prepared to have the procedure done. A few days after the surgery I had mild redness to one of my eyes. I called the office and they said that Dr. Scott would see me that afternoon. Unfortunately I was working and couldn't take the appointment. No problem! He asked me to send him a picture of my eye. An hour or two later Dr. Scott called me personally and discussed what needed to be done. 5 months later I can truly say that I am extremely pleased with the results! Dr. Kevin Scott is an extremely-skilled surgeon with a great bedside manner! If I ever need another procedure I would definitely, without reservation, return to Dr. Scott and his wonderful staff:)

I was apprehensive about the procedure, but Dr Scott and his staff were always attentive and informative. The pre-op went off without a hitch. I was informed as to what to do, who to call, and exactly what my out of pocket expenses would be. The hospital staff were friendly and professional. The post-op instructions were detailed as well. My experience with my surgery couldn't have been better. My eyelids never looked better. The laser resurfacing and the eyelid surgery took at least 10 years off. All my family and friends are flabbergasted at the difference Dr. Scott's surgery has made in my appearance. For a bonus, I did not feel any pain post-surgery.

Major thanks to Dr. Scott and his office staff. They were knowledgable, experienced. and compassionate. I had ptosis in my left eyelid -- I was hesitant in getting the procedure for a long time but my left eyelid was causing me vision issues. I was medically cleared to get the procedure with Kaiser Permanente as my insurance (if you have them -- confirm with the hospital before proceeding). Dr. Scott asked questions before the procedure to ensure I knew the risks and continued to ask them each time. I am forever thankful for him and his staff.

I wanted to have my upper eyelids raised slightly, and to have extra folds of eyelid skin tightened. Also, I wanted to have the bags beneath my eyes removed. The office staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Scott presents a very friendly and understanding demeanor, and helped me understand the possible procedures available, and what options might be best for me. Since this type of surgery was very new to me, I compared him to my visit with another plastic surgeon, both in terms of skill, recommendations, and how he treated me. As a result, I am greatly impressed with his personality, skill and knowledge. I am extremely pleased with the results of my surgery. The results of the surgery are remarkable; not only do I look much better, but for the first time in years, I can see brighter colors and more defined depth in my vision. Thank you, Dr. Scott, for your skill. You have made a significant improvement in my life.
