Dr Kirsten Smith is a highly skilled professional. She always treated me well and gave very helpful suggestions. She was surely one of the main reason I could have a mindful and peaceful pregnancy. I am really happy that I met Dr Smith for our pregnancy and glad that she helped us through out this journey from 8th week till our rainbow baby is born. All of my visits with her were really well and I am thankful for all her guidance to us. Whether it’s her skills with ultrasound, cervical check, baby growth checks and answering to all our queries, concerns was really good. Just to mention about her talent, my two cervical checks were never painful and her inputs on diet helped me to not to be diabetic during my pregnancy. She is always warm, empathetic and very knowledgeable. Her patience and warm way of treating pregnant women really eases them. She treats her patients with a smile and I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family.

I've been a patient of Dr. Smith's for several years, ever since she delivered my youngest child, and I have recommended her to many people. Induced at 37 wks for convenience with one child. Oddly lost a child the day following my 3 month checkup . Left the visit with an all good report and almost lost my life the next day as I bleed and bleed and bleed.

I was advised by her co-doctor that she was an artist but she left tons of retains placenta in after a C-section. I needed a hysterectomy because of it.

Dr. Smith was not able to remove the cerclage on 37th week at Greenville office, did not suggest any follow ups or Non stress test or biophysical even after our request. She assured me that I will have a normal delivery within a week. Biggest mistake of my life to trust the doctor. I did not get any pain during the week. Dr. Smith again failed to remove cerclage on 38th week and then found that my baby had died. She even failed to remove the cerclage the next day at the hospital, but Dr. Diane McCracken who was at the hospital removed the cerclage within 10 minutes! Dr. Smith either did not know much about the cerclage removal or she did not have the technique. She never listened to my concerns and always took those as silly. This was the second baby we lost in a span of 1 year at Christiana Care Greenville. If you need a cerclage, find another doctor. Never completely believe the doctor and always demand what you believe because it is your precious baby, but it is just a case for the… doctor.

She is horrible! It's a business for her. She cut me up, and used a vacuum on my baby. I was only in labor for 39 minutes. And she had me induced the day before so that she could deliver me. She damaged me!!!
