Dr. Krissy M Yamamoto, MD

Dr. Yamamoto is a caring and personable doctor. She does not make you feel rushed and actually spends time to address all of your concerns. She always follows up with questions on mychart, and will followup on all labs. I miss her as my ob/gyn as I had to switch due to her availability.

My wife and I had our first child with her this month. Labor started during her partner shift at Valley medical 2am. Her partner didn't come to see how my wife was doing until 7am, and at 4:30pm when her shift was over. Then, Dr. Yamamoto promised to come by at 5pm and never showed up until 6pm. When she came by wife was at 8cm. Three hours later both Dr. Yamamoto and her nurse said they could touch the our daughter hair, yet she maintained that it was still 8cm . Then, she gave my wife an ultimatum of 1 hour . I swear, you heard me right, she gave her an ultimatum of 1 hour to dilate 2 more cm otherwise, she will perform a C-Section on her. We objected and wanted to know why , then she sacred us that , the baby is not in the right position. so the baby cannot come out . Then my wife objected because Dr. Yamamoto has been my wife's OB-GYN for past 9 months and she has never mention of the baby being in wrong position. NEVER. Then, she said the baby in the right position but… confused us with some medical terminology. In one hour later , she came by and said it was not 10cm even before inserted her hands. She then inserted her hands and "Confirmed". We went to the OR and I wont explain what happened to my wife there because my wife nearly went mad. My wife is so stressed about that experience, I don't think she will ever be the same. its a long story so I will skip to the end, my and I had to plead a lot for my wife to go see the baby at 3am, then, Dr. Yamamoto came by two days later and didn't even bother to see our baby. We went to her office and her nurse who have been our nurse didn't even bother to see the baby … I could go and on …. but I will stop here.

Dr Yamamoto is the best! I have had Dr Yamamoto as my doctor for two out of three of my pregnancies and she is always wonderful. If you are looking for a doctor who truly listens, respects, and cares for you as a patient Dr Yamamoto is who you are looking for. I had the best labor and delivery, and I honestly do not think it could of been any better!

Dr. Yamamoto is the best GYN in town. I have been going to her for my first pregnancy and she did an amazing job. I had high risk pregnancy and she always was so detailed and amazing during my pregnancy. Very encouraging, and her front desk and MA are just as great as she is. Definitely recommend her and will be going to her for my future pregnancies.

My doctor was out this week so I saw Dr. Yamamoto this week. She was very dismissive and rude to my husband and I. She was also uninformed about my pregnancy even with all the notes my regular doctor left. I am a petite woman and 39 weeks pregnant. She was supposed to just be measuring my belly and doing a vaginal exam but she applied TOO MUCH pressure on my lower abdomen where my daughter's head is located, it was to the point I had to tell her to stop and that it hurt. She then said sorry for the pressure she was looking for her head?!?! She then went on to say my daughter was measuring "too small and may not be growing" which is incorrect. My regular doctor Dr. Siarezi is much more intelligent and informative, she had previously told me that my daughter is, "small but not underweight considering my body size, very healthy and growing at a steady/normal rate." When I told Yamamoto she insisted I was wrong and she was right and that "I should be worried," WHAT KIND OF OB/GYN says… that to an expecting mother. Dr. Yamamoto did not do her homework before seeing me and I pray to God she didn't harm my baby when she mashed on her head. She also had pink streaks in her hair that were tacky and unprofessional. If you go to Lone Star Circle of Care ask for SIAREZI!!! She is the more intelligent and seasoned doctor.

Dr Yamamoto is a awesome doctor. She takes her time with her patients. She answer's all your question's. She makes sure you understand everything before you leave her office. I wish their was more doctor's like her. She's worth more then 5 star's!
