Dr. Lara Lynan Wong, MD

Waited over 2 months for a follow-up appointment that should only take 5mins to review a simple thyroid blood test. I was 15mins late because I thought the appointment was at 12:30p instead of 12noon. Receptionist took another 10minutes to register me - after which Dr. Wong decided to cancel my appointment and told me to reschedule and wait another 2months. She only works 2 days a week. Not sure if she really cares about being a doctor or her patients.

Dr. Lara Wong is one of the best doctors I've had. She is patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. She is a very good listener. Highly recommended.

This doctor reads scripts rather than making educated diagnosis. All she does is cite random percentages and instead of actually doing the due diligence to find the root of the problem, Lara Wong likes to make claims with no verification of anything.She likes to try and ease the fears of patients by stating that symptoms usually lead to nothing but she gives no supporting facts when she does this. She is very inept and it is extremely surprising to the Palo Alto Medical Foundation hire such an unprofessional physician when there are so many qualified doctors with experience in her field of work. The hospital itself is very good but Lara Wong is a very poor representative of the medical field.
