Dr. Laura Sigismund Leddy, MD

Dr Leddy treated me for bladder cancer since Sept 2019 by doing surgery (TURB) and multiple cystoscopies. She is an excellent physician with a nice bedside manner. She removed my tumor completely and her cystoscopies were totally painless (you hardly knew she was even doing them). Even though I had a lengthy trip to see her, I was lucky to be in her care. I highly recommend her.

Unfortunately My wife”s cancer returned. Fortunately Sloan Kettering and Dr Elizabeth Jewell were able to help. My wife”s surgery was very involved and Doctor Jewell needed to bring in other surgeons. Doctor Laura Leddy was brought in on the day of surgery. Doctor Leddy was extremely professional and compassionate to the needs of my wife. She explained everything in great detail before and after surgery. We appreciate and are very Thankful for the staff at Sloan and extremely grateful to Doctor Jewell and Doctor Leddy.

Dr. Leddy is the Best !!! cant ask for a better doctor to perform this procedure. the pre-surgery requirements and the post surgery follow up was very satisfying and professional.

Waited over an hour to see the nurse practitioner. Dr Leddy spent a maximum of 10 minutes with me. Unresponsive office staff to repeated phone calls. Little compassion!

I had two procedures to get rid of a large kidney stone that had made my life difficult for two years. Now, all is well. Dr Leddy is very skillful and kind. Her staff couldn't be better. There was almost no downtime after each procedure.

Dr. Leddy explains fully what the diagnosis is and carefully outlines the alternative treatments available. She spends time making sure that you know exactly what is going to be done and explains it to family as needed. After my operation she saw me daily for a week in the hospital always on schedule and told me how the healing was proceeding when she was finished with the examination. She has seen me several times after the surgery and always answers all questions I have. From my experience I can confidently say she is an excellent surgeon with a great bedside manner.
