Dr. Lawrence Roe, MD

I moved my parents to Longview over 15 years ago and my mom and dad began using Dr Roe at that time. Since then, my dad has past away and I've been attending the doctors appointments with my mom over the past couple of years and my experience with Dr Roe has been all positive. He has been very personable and helpful. I'm very glad that he has been helping to take care of my parents.

I hold Dr. Row 110% responsible for my husbands death. We were in his office on Friday with my husband complaining of chest and jaw pain (this was the second visit with the same complaint by the way)and he had a massive heart attack Sat. morning and passed away. All Roe did that Fri was take a blood test and said he would call Mon. My husband didn't have until Mon. He was only 49 years old.

Dr. Roe seemed concerned and caring when I first went to him, but it soon became apparent that he is mostly interested in generating income. For example: While being treated for chronic fatigue syndrome I specifically made an appointment because of unrelenting, dehabilitating fatigue that was getting progressively worse. He said he would run some more tests and make a recommendation for medication after the results were in. After the results came in he refused to adjust or prescribe any medicine; he said I had to make another appointment! I told the nurse I was desperate for relief of my sympotoms, that's why I made THAT appointment. I asked wasn't there anything he could prescribe, or an over the counter product he could recommend but he would not even come to the phone and talk to me. The nurse told me I could make an appointment with a specialist who had a 6 week waiting period. In the meantime, I could simply suffer, as he did not think it "appropriate" to even prescribe for me… temporary relief while waiting for the specialist.
