Dr. Lindsay Michele Raymer, MD

She is the least caring Dr I’ve ever had the misfortune to know. She is a total mercenary, requiring a $200 office visit to make any med changes. You can find a lot better psychiatrist in Houston. We had a major mental health crisis and she went “Missing in Action.” She couldn’t be bothered to even check in with the hospital. The hospital ask for her to supply a case history but since she couldn’t charge the hospital, she refused to help.

Raymer is the worst psychiatrist I’ve ever had the misfortune to know. My son had a mental health crisis requiring hospitalization. She couldn’t be bothered to even contact the hospital. She will only interact with a patient if she is able to bill her hourly fee. Not become her patient. You can find a more qualified and compassionate psychiatrist. She is a total mercenary.

I went to Dr. Raymer for nearly an entire year. During which she prescribed me a certain medication. Then, in the switching process of doctors (due to insurance reasons) a few things went wrong with my insurance, which required me to get one last prescription from Dr. Raymer before seeing the new physician. Dr. Raymer gave me two choices.. 1. pay the fee to see her to get the prescription or 2. wait 1-2 weeks for her to prescribe "per the agreement I signed in the beginning". She knew that we were in a financial bind and that was the reason I had to see an in-network doctor anyway. It sounded to me like she was just interested in me paying for a visit. Seems extremely unethical to me!!

Dr. Raymer is very good at her work. She correctly identified my mental illness when no other doctor had recognized it in years. Now, I am on the right treatment plan and feel so much better. Excellent doctor!

I have being seeing her for more than a year; the old problems are very mild now and the new ones are intense and we are working on them . Just don't know :( she gives time for talking and it will basically be that. You talk for the whole 45 minutes and in the end she sugests some kind of medication.Just dont know :( Is she mature enought to understand feelings?

When my wife and I were evacuated from our home due to the fires in Bastrop, TX, Dr. Raymer refused to refill my wife's prescription. A doctor's records will clearly show that my wife's meds were being taken at the proper rate, we have been in touch with the doctor several times in a desperate attempt to get a refill and the doctor told us to find another doctor, stating that "she wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that there was a prescription out there that wasn't accounted for." Thanks for nothing Lindsay Raymer! Our house is about to go up in flames, my wife is beside herself, and this so called doctor refuses to give her a prescription. My wife has already had a seizure due to coming off of meds, and Raymer knows this. Now she says for us to find another doctor. As if we don't have enough going on right now! I will never trust this quack again!
