I received my undergraduate degree in molecular and cellular biology from the UC Berkeley. I received my medical degree from USC and subsequently completed a UCLA internal medicine residency program. I then completed a subspecialty fellowship in nephrology at Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. I am board certified in both internal medicine and nephrology.
