Dr. M Lorene Sipes, MD

Prior to what these other reviews say I feel obligated to share my experience with Dr. Sipes. I have been seeing Dr. Sipes for well over 2 1/2 years and I have to say, she has been a god send. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her. She came HIGHLY recommended might I add and I was lucky enough to get an emergency visit with her and become a regular patient. She is caring, she is sincere and never once has she crossed any boundaries. I am not one to open up and she has cracked the code. She is extremely educated on medications but has never once pushed a single one on me or made any suggestions. Dr. Sipes has compassion for her patients and makes you feel so comfortable. She also has a great sense of humor. I honestly could not recommend her more. She has allowed me to slowly and at my own pace unpack significant trauma and slowly heal from that and that's not something I ever thought possible, and for that I thank her. I truly would be at a very different place in my… life without her. I hope this helps when considering Dr. Sipes as a therapist. I just could not back that choice more.

I recommended looking up the public record complaint of this woman. I feel she is a predator in my opinion.

I do not recommend this provider. She shared details of her other patients’ treatment with me; vice versa is probably also true, which I found highly inappropriate. I also felt that she was probably sponsored by at least two name-brand medications (despite not being qualified to prescribe) as she pushed them nonstop—even after I saw an MD/PhD pharmacologist who said otherwise. Further, she referred to colleagues, including a prescribing provider as “crazy”, which I found to be lacking in judgment and boundaries. I did not feel respected or that she had my best interests in mind.
