Dr. Manuel Ignacio Figueroa, MD

My father is a patient there for over 40 years. I don't like this doctor, because he does not know what he is doing. He is not self confident of how he prescribes and has prescribed very strong medication to my family member and once he gave two blood pressure medications and he just said oh ok I better change it. That and other things I see how he practices and its scary. my father refuses to change doctors!! I have a bad feeling about this doctor and surprised he is not reprimanded by the Medical Board. Please do not go there!

Be prepared to wait 2-3 hours to see the doctor. Staff is very careless, rude, and lazy. Very painful when they take out blood, the girl needs more practice.

I had gone to about 7 doctors at Kaiser including the emergency room and none were helping me, they kept prescribing medications that didn't work and it seemed like they were always rushing to get to their next patient and I was still feeling very ill. I was told that Dr. Figueroa was very good and decided to go and pay for a consultation, to my surprise this doctor is an old school doctor he really examines you and gets to the root of the problem by asking you questions, and doing exams. I was given an xray and got the results right then an there. I was given a prescription and I am feeling much better I still have some more exams to take but this doctor does cure you. He is the best doctor i have seen.

This Dr. is very hesitant to spend more than five minutes with you and chooses NOT to explain things as to what the diagnosis is and the basics on how/what/why you got said illness/condition. I spent 5 years with this Dr. because I thought the office but I was wrong.

Dr Figueroa at one point was at another clinic in partnership with another doctor that I was taken to as a little girl, he eventually moved to his own clinic and we lost track of him. His old partner it seems brought in other doctors(Pedroza) who was or is a total idiot and I had to leave, at this point I was taking my own children there too. Then I gave my neighbor a ride to take her son to the doctor and to my surprise it was Figueroa, I immediately transferred to his clinic and have been bringing my children to him. He is a great doctor, sometimes the wait can me a little long but that is because he is such a great doctor that he has a lot of patients.
