Dr. Marc Allan Eller, MD

Dr. Eller was a personable and caring family physician with all my family members. He addressed every concern we had, and worked with us to improve our healthcare. I found him to be very proactive. Unfortunately, he is no longer my physician as I have moved out of state

I have been going to Dr Eller for many years. He is nice but mostly seems rushed during appts. Most recent physical relies mainly on blood tests. Had to call two times to get my full results which a post card just said were normal. Well....they were not normal. A few tests were well above normal range and where they were in years past....I think I will seek out another Dr.

Dr. Eller is impatient and condescending. He forgot he diagnosed me with an illness when I showed up for my follow up appointment a week later, he was confused as to why I was there. I had to remind him of the diagnosis he had made a week prior and that he sent me to a specialist. I understand some illnesses are not well understood by the medical community, but this doctor did nothing to reassure me that he was giving me the best care available. He gave me contradicting information and didn't show compassion for my symptoms at all. In fact, he once told me , and I quote, to stop talking about my symptoms. Why else would I go see him?! Certainly not for his lacking bed-side manner. Staff was nice, and I got appointments quickly. Doesn't matter if the doctor isn't helpful.

I absolutely hate seeing doctors and have never had "my own" doctor until Dr. Eller. I used a rotating set of doctors at the military base. They were all good but Dr. Eller is outstanding. I ignored a serious illness until my wife took me to Dr. Eller and he saved my life. He is a straight shooter who deeply cares for his patients and he knows what he is doing. He is the first doctor I've had that knows the right questions to ask and always takes the time to answer questions. I have 100 percent confidence in him and highly recommend him.

I have seen Dr. Eller only a few times and have recommended him to others a couple of times. Though he is a bit abrupt and tends to be rushed, I have felt that he is committed to discovering and fixing underlying problems. He seems to truly want good outcomes and soliutions to health concerns. He seems very committed to patient welfare. He seems knowledgeable about available specalitsts and who can get the results, if a specalist is needed.

Primary care my butt----didn't even look at my radiology reports or any of my hospital reports. Asked me if I was imagining it.

He has been my father's primary care physician for over 12 years, but when my dad recently had a medical emergency (stroke) we did not feel that Dr. Eller was very helpful. Wait times for each appointment were very excessive (50 mins - 1 hr) and actual face time with the doctor was very short (5-10 mins). It seemed he was often trying to rush us out and did not address all of our questions. He also did not take my father's dizziness and vomiting very seriously, even though my father was on 8+ meds. It took several appointments and phone calls before he even considered reducing/changing meds, even though we visited him every month. In addition, he told us conflicting information about what specialists my dad needed to follow-up with, even though we asked him directly if we needed to visit any other providers. That was just the last straw and we are switching to a different primary care physician.

I am very pleased with Dr Marc Eller and VMA. I have my annual physical there and periodic visits when an issue may arise. I have always found him to be available, a good listener, a qualified PCP, and he provides follow-up on lab results. I do not feel rushed. The staff in the lab are professional - no problems with the office receptionists. I have been going to VMA since 1991.

I've seen Dr. Eller 4-5 times now and each time has been a nightmare. From long waits past my scheduled time (up to 1.5 hours), to unprofessional and unhelpful nurses & staff, to unprofessional, rude and rushed behavior from Dr. Eller himself - this is a horrible practice. I highly recommend looking for other physicians in the area.

Run down office. Unnfriendly staff. Terrible bed side manner. This physician looses patience easily, spends little time with patients and hardly does any physical exam.
