Dr. Cedars and her team are the most competent doctors I've seen in my entire life. They were so thoughtful and considerate! Even the smallest details weren't missed, like making sure not to accidentally get the ultrasound gel on my gown since I'd be wearing the gown for another consult after the ultrasound and she didn't want me to be sticky and uncomfortable.

Dr. Cedars deserves 6's across the board. She sets the standard for a higher tier.

Dr. Cedars is great at what she does and giving patients the direct (if difficult to hear) information they need to hear and make decisions with. Huge fan!

She knows her stuff cold, explains everything really well, and is creative and calm in all the ways you'd want her to be. Dealing with billing, scheduling and other administrative issues are a hassle but totally worth it. She gave me hope and then actually got results! Can't recommend her enough.

I accompanied my daughter who has a congenital uterine deformity for a second/third opinion about her condition. She had been diagnosed in San Diego while at school, where she had had both an ultrasound and an MRI. It was questionable whether she needed surgical follow up. We had consulted a highly recommended doctor from Stanford University to review both evaluations and he concluded that no surgery was needed based on these two tests and another subsequent ultrasound, which he requested. We went to see Dr. Cedars, who we had been referred to by UCSF to get a second opinion in northern California. The first impression came from her office staff , who informed us that she wasn't in that day even though we had an appointment. We were sent to another floor to see about getting rescheduled. There we were sent back to the original floor, where it turned out that she was there afterallWe no sooner introduced my daughter's case to her that she was quick to advise that she would… probably need surgery. When we shared the Stanford doctor's opinion to the contrary with her, she requested yet another ultrasound. Forty-five minutes later, she was convinced that surgery was inevitable. We left somewhat skeptical. She told us that she would review the results with a radiologist and get back to us within the next week. The contact came two months later when she again stressed the need for surgery. The same day we received her bill of $3000 from our insurance company, a "small" price to pay for an hour's worth of second opinion. We were not impressed!

Doc knows her stuff but it is pulling teeth get into see her and to get a follow up. Expect to wait at least 6 wks.

I have been seeing Dr. Cedars for almost a year now to deal with my infertility, and eventually came to IVF. She was amazing, and would always make a point of being the doctor to do my procedures even if it wasn't her turn on the clinic rounds. She was always there for us, very honest but also cautiously optimistic. I'm sitting here 8 weeks pregnant, so she clearly did a lot of things right! And even if I hadn't gotten pregnant, she made me feel good about the process. I owe her so much.
