Dr. Wolf decided to follow in her grandfatherâ€™s footsteps and practice medicine. She was inspired by his treatment of wounded soldiers as part of the Italian Medical Corp. Dr. Wolf has an interest in keeping her patients healthy and out of hospitals. She is interested in cancer prevention and appreciates patients who are proactive in their health and lifestyle choices. This attitude allows her to help them make educated choices that can make a big difference in their lives, once they commit to them. She knows that early detection results in the best outcome and that the best treatment for many diseases like obesity is to prevent them in the first place. She is proud to be part of Meridian Medical Associates, to be ahead of the times and working with a larger group of doctors for the good of patients. Dr. Wolf completed her undergraduate degree at College of St. Francis in chemistry. She chose Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine for her medical degree based on their strong commitment to primary care. She completed internships at Olympia Fields and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is the recipient of the Medical Staff Award from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993. She has also received a Gate Award, Achievement in Study of Medicine and the Lennon Company Award. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is also affiliated with Midwestern University. Dr. Wolf and her husband have two grown children. They also share their home with six rescued cats, each with their own story. In addition to her fondness for her cats, Dr. Wolf enjoys running, cooking and nutrition.
