I saw Dr Corona for two years and even though another Dr did an ultrasound of my kidney which showed extensive scarring and my GFR went down to 25, his only treatment was to tell me to start running. I regret wasting two years with no treatment where my kidney function continued to decline.

I transferred to Sutter Health and specifically, Dr. Corona because of his wonderful reputation (his waiting list for new patients speaks to his amazing service and practice). Dr. Corona is by far the best physician I have had. I have seen a few Nephrologists, and Dr. Corona is the absolute best bedside manner. He cares. He calls his patients back. I cannot over-emphasize the quality of care he provides, I am blessed to have him as my specialist.I wish I could say the same for his front office. One or two of the ladies who answer phones / schedule appointments are rude, un-friendly and do not return calls / make excuses. Quite honestly, his front office staff is probably the worst I have dealt with. Also the office does not accept credit card payments...that's a little odd, but because he is such a caring and talented physician, it's OK. Still wish he would get a competent office staff...with so many qualified and FRIENDLY unemployed folks out there, surly, they could do… better.
